I hope it will be regulated some day to ALL countries so no one can make any excuse. For me, regulating ICO is really a good thing. But for now, what we can do is to support those who deserve and invest what we can afford to lose.
every single day ICO projects always appear with their respective advantages. but in fact, many are experiencing failure in the end. they just waste time and spend money to advertise? how about you're opinion 
I do believed that ico right cannot be stop, particularly now several of ico that has been rise up in crypto world. And many of the community also are partaking in the project, therefore it would hard to stop it.
I don't think there is a way to stop ICOs from popping out everyday as it is like an idea that comes into mind everytime and you dwell on it so much and ask people to buy your idea until iit becomes a realization or until it becomes the next big thing in the world of altcoins. ICOs for me represents possibilities as long as it is well regulated and not a scam to cheat people off their cryptos. You never know when the next bitcoin or ethereum will appear in the market if you stop ICOs just like that. I agree with what most have said that, at the end of the day, it's really up to you whether you would invest in an ICO project or not so it's too early for me to dismiss them just yet because again, your ICOnmight turn out to be the next big thjng in the cryptocurrency world.

I wish every ICO should be successful because dev put all team effort and money into their project, currently i am looking forward to Gilgamesh (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annico-gilgamesh-social-network-for-books-ico-is-live-2162600)... and i wish they will get success at the end.
Not all of them are scams. Well lets give every project, every idea a scam. After all, everything is a gamble. So if you dont want to lose anything, just dont invest.

Not all ICOs are scams. Among venture projects there is a large share of failed projects that have various fail reasons (unpromising technology, uncoordinating team, etc.). This is a normal situation.
ICOs will stop if the companies cannot manage or handle their campaigns anymore. you can pretty much see if these happen by researching first about their campaign, objectives, etc.. You can be certain by then that their campaign will be successful once you understood what they are for and if it really is possible to reach their goals or objectives.
You must not have seen how ICOs managed without all these extracompany parties doing it for them. Take a look at 100 ICOs in this year, just take any pick. What is your measure of success? Millions raised? OK, then they have been successful. But 0% have been successful in meeting their full objectives. Not when most of them have scheduled their launch next year. And if you want to measure by way of token/coin price, then you will see less than 10% have a value today higher than what they were during their ICOs.
Research and understanding is not a certainty of ICO success. It is not that simple, buddy.

I think everything depend on you decision.many ico comes in market,some are good and some are bad but you must be chooses better ico.otherwise your money can be lost. so.most important think is ico makes a good profit for all.no need to stop this just you follow what is the better ico.
The ICO will be necessary even if a small part of it is useful and promising. stop ico it just hurt many parties. ico is very hard to stop because a lot of big projects want to achieve success, if you want ico stop doing now because you will never be able to do it.
Nothing can stop icos but at the same time we need a new way for projects to raise funds, scammers are abusing the icos and creating many fake projects, even copying someone else work and trying to convince people they made that work, so if icos want to keep getting funds from people they need to do more than what they are doing now or the lack of interest from the community will slowly make icos fade away. 
I don't think that we can stop ico because the ico can help us to reach another profit. besides that, there is many good ico that will bring success to both project and investor. I am sure that there is much innovation from the ico make our life be better than yesterday. but we need to find out which is ico that will succeed in the future.
ICO does not need to be stopped even considering that about 40 percent of the current ICO is showing signs of fraud. In the future, this process will become regulated, and investors will learn from their mistakes to differentiate risky ICOs from prospective ones. And the market will filter out useful projects and created based on their tokens from unnecessary and useless.
The market is not going to do anything, if the market wanted to do something it could have been done already and yet the amount of scam icos is very high, so government oversight is going to come and change the way icos raise money it is sad but if people do not learn and keep choosing crappy projects then government intervention will happen.
As long as people are still throwing bitcoins or ethereums at ICOs, they can't be stopped. Always research before investing in any ICO.
I dont really think that you can stop an ICO. Everyday more and more ICO are being develop. Some are successfull while most of them are not. But still a lot of people are interested in ICO. As long as there are people who are willing to invest in an ICO, it cant be stop. Also its part of the development that cryptocurrency is undergoing. You can stop it if you can stop the investors, which I think wont be happening.

You cant stop ICOs or new coins that are coming out, yeah they are spending a big amount of money on advertisement to get people to join their project but the revenue they get is much larger than what they spend so basically the one who is at risk at failure are the investor of the coin.
i think people learn from there failures.Fortune favors the bold so let them take risks. let them keep investing and making opportunities of earning for people like us.
why do you think to stop it if it is a good ICO, because you can invest and achieve many benefits with it, this will be better for you to do because it is very profitable.
