I think the ICO to stop it will be very difficult when it happens maybe it only to inhibit it. as the authorities banning new projects raise cash or other virtual currency through cryptocurrency. as well as in banking said that ico was unauthorized fund-raising and is illegal activity then the price will drop drastically even bitcoin sharply. and prohibit all organizations and individuals conducting fund raising through the activities of ICO.

No one can stop ICO projects. Because it also likes other investment fields, there are many risks. So, the best way is that if you are not good at in researching, you should not take part in them.
Many of these ICOs are made in an anonymous manner, so I don't think regulation is enough to stop them. Investors themselves are the only ones who could stop it, and the best you can do to achieve that is spread awareness among people.
ICOs will stop if the companies cannot manage or handle their campaigns anymore. you can pretty much see if these happen by researching first about their campaign, objectives, etc.. You can be certain by then that their campaign will be successful once you understood what they are for and if it really is possible to reach their goals or objectives.
You must not have seen how ICOs managed without all these extracompany parties doing it for them. Take a look at 100 ICOs in this year, just take any pick. What is your measure of success? Millions raised? OK, then they have been successful. But 0% have been successful in meeting their full objectives. Not when most of them have scheduled their launch next year. And if you want to measure by way of token/coin price, then you will see less than 10% have a value today higher than what they were during their ICOs.
Research and understanding is not a certainty of ICO success. It is not that simple, buddy.
No need to stop ICO's, because they bring new technology and ideas to the table.

There is no way for us to stop ico's and why ? , Because the competition in the market is very tight and there are different platforms that are created by developers and we all have one goal and that is to be rich in the future.

90% (and most likely even more) of ICOs will fail. Indeed, it is not easy to find a valid ICO in this sea of scams and unrealistic business models. However, you need to remember that even in normal business environment (offchain) majority of startups end up in bankruptcy as well. From this point of view ICOs are not much different from other Startups.
Just be very sceptical. Do your research and do not invest more than you can afford to lose. With some luck you will be able to find ICO which will generate nice profit in the future

Why would you stop ICO's? Many ICO has been successful and continuing to develop their project. Their developers are following their roadmap and some are been successful to be listed in exchanges. But unfortunately there are some that can't continue their project due to insufficient funds after their ICO and some are lack of support from their companies. Also because of it their developer left the project. Its not their fault if they can't continue the project.
You cant stop greedy persons to take advantages the market,market is getting worst a lot of new scammers are joining and more newbies are getting rekt because of that.

Well that guys are spending THEIR money, what the matter for you? Anyway they're paying to PR managers and journalists, IT-specialists and designers so somebody are winning.
Previously, each program was profitable, as there were really good projects and the funds received were used for the needs of the project. Now many scammers have come who just want to collect money and disappear.

Not all ICO fraudulent projects. There are actually working and even offering innovative products projects.

I think in few years we will see what % ICO is scam. I think we will see that these young unexperienced guys will understand that they can't just take billions and go for their island. Some big guys that put a lot of money in their ICOs will help them to find right way of working. After some incidents there will be laws about ICO and it will be the same like IPO - civilized robbery of money from gullible hamsters.
