For spot smoking, all you need to do is, you have to train your mind. You have to control yourself. If you can control your desire then you can do that. Sure it will take sometimes. It is not easy to do. You have to make a plan. You have to work according to your plan. Then you will be successfully gradually. Don't expect any success overnight.

Set your mind , have determination to stop smoking . My fathers way to stop smoking , since i was born 1991 , is when he feel he want to take cigarettes , he replace candies or sweets and its effective for him .

I just stopped smoking when i became ill with the flu. Wasn't intended to quit, but hey, I haven't smoked a cigarette in over two months now after being a smoker for over 20 years

Quitting smoking is not impossible but also not easy, a very strong will and determination along with maybe some friends support or relatives, that will boost your morale allot,  the side-effect like being nervous or stressed, i think its a little hard to deal with but  it will pass once u can just make ur mind forget about the need of smoking by replacing with some  activities maybe !!

Quitting smoking is difficult. It happens one minute…one hour…one day at a time. Try not to think of quitting as forever. Pay attention to today and the time will add up. It helps to stay positive. Your quit day might not be perfect, but all that matters is that you don’t smoke—not even one puff. Reward yourself for being smokefree for 24 hours. You deserve it.

I dont smoke
but i know how..
1. Decrease your piece of smoke everyday
      caution: Don't fully stop smoking in just a day it can harm your lungs it is because your lungs need to adjust..
2. Always eat candies when you feel like your throat is itching
3. Redo...
And after a month or weeks

Just stop. That's all. You have to understand that it's not that makes you better or enhance the level of your life.
But to those who are addictive with smoking can't stop their addiction easily. I think it will take process and slowly before they can stop from smoking. I am not a smoker but my father is a smoker and until now he still smokes even if he is sick. They say that vape can lessen their addiction with cigarette, I don't know if that is guaranteed already but to those who smoke they can try it.

There are several way to get through to be a smoke free. You ve tried to things that all of us have tried, but sometimes it needs to be seen in different way, if you have failed reducing or cutting it at all, i may suggest to try nicotine patch or nicotine bubble gum. The point is We are addicted to nicotine of cigar, not the tar or a thousand bad chemical nor carcinogen inside cigar while it burned and inhale. Nicotine are found inside tomato and potato as well. And you can slowly reducing the nicotine intake from patch or gum from there. So in a way you stop smoking you also decreasing the horrible risk factor of smoking cigar itself. Hope it helps.

My friend once tried to stop smoking, by substituting cigarettes with nicotine gum. But the problem is that he got addicted to the nicotine gum!!! In the end, somehow he managed to shake-off that addiction, but it was not good. Anyway, I would prefer nicotine gum over cigarettes at any time of the day.

First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?



Gradually reducing is ok, just put on your mind what your doing is for your self, and for your health, because if you dont quit smoking the worst thing will happen is you die, and you will suffer so much before you die, would you like that? so if you dont wanna die, quit smoking now.

I think to stop smoking is a very hard thing to do, especially when it becomes a habit. So, there are steps that one needs to follow. Most of the recommendations I see on the internet is to slowly or to gradually stop it as times goes by, that way it will really be effective and fast.

I suggest that do something that makes you busy and have no time for smoking , and keep in your mind that every cigarette you smoke is less 1week for your life

I have tried these two ways and here i am. Smoking. And never been happier. Cheesy jk. I think we need to wish it more. It is just like the diet and its yo-yo effect. We literally celebrate after quitting it with smoking and that is whete it comes back.
