For miners and senior traders it may still be able to survive, because the initial capital they spend may have returned. However, for miners and traders who are new to the crypto world, they may find it difficult to accept current market conditions.

It all depends on what level of knowledge and skills you have.
For inexperienced traders, holding their own coins is best now.
For experienced traders, other possibilities open up. And of course, first and foremost is trading.
If you look carefully at different altcoins now, it will be seen that even now the prices for some of them are quite high. Of course, first of all, you need to consider trading pairs to bitcoin and ether.
When it comes into survival, isn't the only thing to have knowledge and skill but you should have to apply it and strategies. Everything will be fine if you work on it and conquer all the fears inside your heart and mind.

Have a job.

It does make me wonder what happened to all these 'professional' bounty hunters who threw in the real world and went all crypto. The chances to earn look awful thin on the ground compared to not so long ago.

Just goes to show that nothing can be depended on in this space. You need to pad your own nest before thinking that getting involved in this is a potential answer to making a living.

Have a job. With the current market situation, it will be difficult to earn money this time so it better to seek employment to survive. But if you are an experience trader, you can still earn profits even in a bearish market. The prices of many cryptocurrencies keep going down and many investors are already losing a lot of money but if you still have a patience then hold your coin more.
I agree, it is hard to rely only to make earning from cryptocurrency when price are very low. So during these bearish trends for long we could have a job or look for other ways to earn money. Also, we could stay being patient and also if have funds buy as much as you can anyway I believe about the price will happen to increase.

either buy at each drawdown or sell right now and at each fall, because the price drops even lower, in a falling market you can also earn
yes it might get money but it can lose or more, depending on how you each process it. You can also find other ways to stay alive and get money from this digital world if you want.
Selling your coins now at a loss is not a good idea, because for me selling good coins right now is not worth it. IMO, holding and buying more giant coins can help you survive in this falling market, it may take longer time before bitcoin recovers but at least you have more holdings now that can give higher profit when bulls come again. This is about having more patients now, no one knows when it will recover but one thing is for sure, we will rise again from this fall.

Focus on long term investing not daily trading!

It's not easy to make money in current situation but maybe this shouldn't be your primarily focus at the moment.
Right now you should buy more coins because of convenient price and get prepared for the future. This situation will not last forever and the market will change for better whit much better conditions for making money. You just have to be patient and get through this unfavourable phase.

Exactly like bitbunnny said...it is not time to make money, it is time to invest money and make sure you will make money in years to come.
Advice I would like to give to all non-professional traders : Recognise majore cycles - when it is time to invest and when it is time to take profits. For the most part of 3-5 year cycles you don't need to make any money, you just patiently wait, and when the time comes, you will make in 1 year more than enough to cover for all those years you didn't make much... IF YOU INVESTED AT THE RIGHT TIME!

If you wanna survive, keep breathing. LOL. I'm just kidding. If you wanna survive in this bearish market while you're not a good trader so become a holder is the best option. You just need to be a holder until the bull run happen then you can come back as a trader Smiley
Holding the coins until the end of the bull run is more profitable than holding until the bull run begins,so lets reconsider about your strategy when to sell your holdings. But this is in trading discussion so if someone is trader and want to survive the bear market just do day traders and can make small profits using the small margins in the price movement everyday but when the prices fall too deeper again you maybe sunk.

Hey guys!

Just interested if you still earn any money? The situation is so horrible that it's interesting to me if someone still feels good.
Maybe you mine or you continue to invest in something.

On the whole, how to survive now? Hold, trade, sell, invest, mine?

Do you mean to say how could you earn during this kind of market situation? I guess the best thing to do is just to hold because it would be a risk to do trading at the moment. Long term hold would be a good thing to do for now and don't panic.

As of now, that is the smartest decision on this bearish market. Holding is the best way to avoid a possible loss, trading, and mining I think as of now it needs a serious break due to the market downtrend. So, in order to survive, let these struggles go away and monitor the market when the price again bouncing back. Besides, if you have enough fund to invest much better to grab this opportunity.

People are "hodlers" as long as the price goes up, or when they strongly believe it will. What non Bitcoin enthusiast is there that's going to hodl during a market people think is near its end?

We're very close to a point at which most of these fly by investors are unloading their holdings, and it may have been done already. At worst, a sub $4000 tease will be enough to shake off the most persistent ones.

If you aren't here for the tech, you won't bother hodling till the next bull run, it's that simple. Let people do whatever they feel is right. Selling off holdings isn't smart, but it will end people's suffering.

Recently I started using closed stock exchanges. It's hard to get invited there, but I earn good money by simple trading.

For me, the cryptocurrency is only the possibility of additional income. I do not cash it, I save it. Sometime, maybe I will become a happy person when a good amount is accumulated

Why are you so rude? I'm just interesting what do other investors do in nowadays situation.
I'm not in panic or something. Just want to discuss the best ways of being until market will start growing again.

Who or what am I being rude about? Please inform me.

The best thing to do with a dead market is let it be dead while you get on with the business of living somewhere else. Pouring time into it won't make it move in the direction you want.

Go off and find something completely different to occupy one's time. We might be flailing about doing not very much for several years for all we know. Obsessively studying something that does nothing other than bore or depress you is not a recipe for a happy life.
