My way is very simple but it works, what I do is show real proof of my changes during joining bitcoin and what I already have from the results of bitcoin and besides showing the savings balance from the results of the bitcoin that I have converted to fiat and the amount of bitcoin in my wallet me and many other ways to convince him.
and that way will make them want to be like me and want to be involved in bitcoin and if there is a desire like that then I will explain bitcoin in detail and also explain bitcoin which is very volatile, and explain how to make a wallet and how to use it and how to invest in selling or buy and tell to get free bitcoin and besides that I suggest looking for other ways to better understand and master and I recommend going to Bitcointalk to read and other steps to master it.
and my way is so successful that I can invite some of my friends and family members to join bitcoin, and I also create groups on WhatsApp to share information and opinions about bitcoin or cryptocurrency, and besides that I and they sometimes take holiday trips together .

One day, I think to myself about how to spreads bitcoin to other people. After I create threads https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/did-you-arrange-a-meet-up-or-make-a-gathering-with-local-bitcoin-community-5191717, I see many of us don't try or don't have time to come into a gathering or make a meetup. So how we can introduce bitcoin to local people in our country if we are not trying to tells them about bitcoin? I know that will related to the regulations in every countries but we can introduce to our close friend so they will spread it into their closest friends too.

And if this is succeed, I think cryptocurrency will grow step by step. I know we can spread bitcoin online, but that doesn't mean all people in your country are aware of bitcoin. How they can know bitcoin if they never use the internet to search the news while we can tell them about bitcoin and another coin by offline.

Obviously the main problem is to introduce to others or the closest people, certainly they must understand about first about the use of computers. after that an adequate internet network is also needed, we know that there are still many countries that experience problems like this.
the most important thing is actually introducing people around / nearby about crypto, and even then it takes time and an acceptable explanation. then switch to the other certainly after that it will be easy to give understanding to others.
True , there's even a lot of strange term when you try to elaborate everything gradationally to common people ... computers stuff + monetary innovation is a perfect confusion for the elderly Cheesy .

This kind attempt Required extra patience, you need to build their interest in cryptocurrency too so you won't be the one who talking like a sales executive Grin

The only way I can see is to show people how much money they could have made at certain points in bitcoin's history had they held any.  You're not going to convince people to own bitcoin by explaining its advantages over fiat, because the average person does *not* have a problem using fiat and isn't looking for an alternative.  But pretty much everyone likes to make a profit.

My other thought on this is that I think it's best to teach a little something about bitcoin to the youth, who embrace everything digital to begin with.  It would be nice if sites like Steam still used bitcoin, because I thought that was an excellent way to expose kids (and adults for that matter) to what bitcoin is all about.

And I hate to say it, but it's like what cigarette companies used to do.  They would advertise to kids so that they'd have a whole new generation of smokers.  Bitcoin is nothing like a cigarette, but I think the principle is the same and that teaching kids about bitcoin might be *the* best way of ensuring its survival.

there are many scams using crypto currency as front , this is the reasons why you need to educate them first. You need to teach them the difference between crypto and those investment scheme who use crypto currency or bitcoin for thier own greed. After they learning the basic they will search it by thier own.
I cannot find a single scam with bitcoin and you cannot tell the same with the hundreds of shit coins and tokens in the market, scammers might have used the name of bitcoin to scam innocent users and if some got greedy and invest in those scams you cannot blame bitcoin. You cannot introduce bitcoin to anyone who are not interested to know about anything new and it is easier for the young generation to understand these new concepts and if anyone is interested to know about bitcoin then you can teach them with ease.

Sure. I'm not disagreeing that people need to be educated. It's just going to be difficult to grab their attention. Unfortunately I think mostly(and this is also based on my experience with a few people), this is the case of them learning from their mistakes by investing in scams rather than learning by listening to others.

Honestly I'm not interested in teaching anyone what bitcoin is anymore because I don't want to repeat the times when these people don't believe me. So it's better to just focus on bitcoin and let them see what bitcoin is doing for me. I'm sure they'll be interested in it too and when this time comes they won't be able to reach me

I have the same experience also but nevertheless I try to acquaint them about it as simple as possible but what I realized is that we need to arouse first their interest in it!

Though its a little bit frustrating sometimes when I try to introduce Bitcoin to people because  they are somewhat resistant to change, yet I still hope that this situation will eventually change someday, especially if  Governments encourage their people to adopt blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies just like China's sudden change in stance about it. Imho.

It's simple really .. as long as you use Bitcoin, I try to spend it everywhere I am physically when monetary transactions take place. If you use it, you use word of mouth 10 people referring 10 people each who refer another 10 means a thousand potential users who may look into the tech and reason to split some capital and secure their own BTC part.

The easiest way to invite people is to live by example, when I was starting out here when I try to tell them about Bitcoin and Blockchain they thought that I was inviting them to a Ponzi scheme, but after they saw that I am making progress in my life materially and they see through the many media news and Videos I've sent them, they finally realized how this technology can help them, you don't have to tell them they will eventually catch up because it's now becoming everywhere.
You are right, it is the most effective technique, showing examples or concrete evidence. At first, the people around me underestimated my job as a freelancer who only struggled with computers every day, especially when they found out I was also focused on trading in cryptocurrency, many thought this was gambling and risky. However, as I slowly began to improve my life, to make my family happy, those people began to change their views and some of them began to open up and try to learn about cryptocurrency.
One small step, we can give direction and understanding to the closest person, family, wife or husband, friends, etc. that this is a good opportunity. If there is someone who doesn't want it, then it's okay, as long as we try.

usually to introduce crypto to the closest person does have to show the results that we can first. because it is a shame that people see the results we get before, and if they are already interested we should guide them to avoid mistakes

We are now in an era with a new technology everything can be done online. You can make an online tutorial about bitcoin and crypto without the needs of meet up and you dont need to meet people personally just to teach them about crypto currency .

True. But the main challenge here is mostly not to educate the people, but it's mostly a challenge to get them to actually be interested with bitcoin. Because if they're really interested, they'd do the research and asking on their own. In contrast to trying to educate people who likely aren't interested in learning in the first place.

It may attract their interest but I think the most effective way is to show them an example of your own earnings. Showing them how to do it will only last for days or weeks, if they see or even experience earnings in crypto, they will easily continue and be there to watch crypto. It is the easiest way to attract people, people are showing interest if they can take an advantage onto something for themselves, if they can earn, then their interest will be on it.

~snip~

The problem that arises when we want to explain to someone what Bitcoin is is not just the fact that it's not that simple (although not too complicated), but the fact is that most people have a very wrong idea about what Bitcoin is based on what they heard or read. From personal experience, I can say that only 10% of the people I explained what Bitcoin is, accepted the explanation, and 90% of them still think that this is some kind of Internet-financial scam which will fail sooner or later.

I disagree that people need to be explained first about wallets or security, they need to figure out what idea is behind the invention of Bitcoin and blockchain, how Bitcoin is created, and what is mining. If they don't understand these basics, there is no point in teaching them how to make a wallet, or how to invest in Bitcoin.

The female population is very important for adoption, but one should not divide Bitcoin into something more for men or women. Technology is open to anyone who wants to use it, but it is equally indisputable that cryptocurrency is today an area mostly dominated by men.

Introducing bitcoin to other people won't ever become a problem. It is easy to introduce them if you are willing, you don't need to get their interest, as long as you have already explained everything, it's their choice to adopt or to avoid. It is a 50/50 chance, but it is their loss if they refused and not us.

There are instance some people not interested about bitcoin. When I learn about bitcoin from the start what I did was I introduce it to some of my friends but some of them not interested at all. This is actually good that we spread awareness of how this truly works. We cannot deny the fact that other people anxious to use it for some reason the volatility of value but if they know the advantage they will appreciate it.
when bitcoin was first created and the price is still very cheap indeed it is very difficult to introduce bitcoin to the public because they still think that bitcoin is just a useless digital currency, until the time when the price of bitcoin has become very expensive as now many are trying to ask again how to get a lot of profit from bitcoin and many people I meet they don't care about how their business they want is only to profit quickly and when I find out people like that I leave it because every profit they need requires a process and everything is nothing instant, so now I only give lessons for those who really have prepared capital for trading and appreciate the existing process.

I don't think we need to be bothered telling people about bitcoin, because bitcoin will be recognized by itself, when every country uses blockchain technology every level of society will recognize bitcoin, just a matter of time.

To explain that technology has advanced a lot and is one of the better ways to pay online. They better find out what cryptocurrency means as soon as they don't think they can live under a rock all their lives.
During our presentation, the basic three things that may follow are:
1. Disinterested
2.They think scam
3.And those who see the future in bitcoin

We should strive for bitcoin to be presented in the best possible way, to explain what it serves, litlle about the history of bitcoin.
