READ THE FUCKING RULES, both forum rules and individual board rules.

EDIT: use the search button, so many redundant threads

As a newbie myself I think the temptation of wanting to move up in status as soon you join, is always very powerful (something many newbie are unable to tame), therefore the effort and the time it takes to read the rules and use the search button, instead being fun becomes an overwhelming tedious task.

If only many of my fellow newbies can take to your advise, and also realise that; anything that will succeed and last long takes effort, time and patience, like the saying "slow and steady wins the race".

Another, crucial things is the mindset.

Many newbie were introduce to this forum by someone/others who have largely corrupt their minds  with idea that BitcoinTalkForum is a money minting machine and once you join you just start minting money, unfortunately many newbie will require a change of perception and will need to relearn.

But, luckily for many newbie who will take the time and effort to learn and grow, we have people like @TMAN, @Jet Cash and many other who are always ready to both guide and support you to go through your days of humble beginning meritoriously.

Thanks for the great advise, they're right on point. I wish every newbie will following your advice.

Thank you for all of the tips TMAN. I very quickly figured out the significance of using the search before posting a thread, as it eliminates a ton of redundancy. Definitely a great tip to include for new users!

Nice clickbait OP Grin God of War Marketing

not clickbait.. I will be handing out merits to those I feel are deserving.. I just need to see some improvements in posting here

I like what you have done it does help people who may want to improve and gives them a place to showcase their ability to learn English. I would point out though that for anyone who doesn't specifically want to improve their English looking to rank up for Sig/Bounty campaigns there is a lot of Merit to be had in the local boards as well.

I will say more power to anyone looking to improve their ability to speak and write a second language. If you have the time try; it will only help you out in life.

I start thinking this forum like a place to be a really professional person (with merit system), but I dont really think it's necessary as long as I can get useful informations here. I won't need merit tho. So, here I would just say thank you for sharing
I like your way of thinking
Not thinking much about merit will make things easier

Good community manager for your blockchain project
Thank you for that post, it is very simple, but, if people will do this steps, they could be good members at this forum!
I read so many questions on simple rules answers, and i really understand, that more, than 70% people first time didn't read rules!
They ask the same questions - how long i will be newbie, how much time and sentences i must put on forum for being member,
and many many another identical.

Wooow, it is amazing useful post, +1 merit from me  Wink

You are considering me wrong but thank you so much for your suggestions, I am not here to learn English only 😀😀😀. I know Bitcointalk forum is the big platform to learn more about Bitcoin, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, mining cryptocurrency. Bitcointalk forum is the platform where members from different part of the globe share their views, learnings, and knowledge so that other members can be aware and learn easily.

Ok then stop posting, what newbies need to do is learn how to use the search feature.. No offence to anyone new, we were all new once, but you posting this adds little value to the forum fella - you need to learn and start with Bitcoin, not alts/ICO/Bounties or any of that shit just Bitcoin, read for a month whilst learning English further then come and start posting a little. Longer term those who read more than they post become more knowledgeable and in turn you will help other newbies and may get some merits sent to you, that will enable you to rank up.. which I would guess with 99.9% accuracy is what you are here for as you really want to earn some moniez!

The Standard Protocol - Solving Inflation
I am new to to Bitcointalk forum some of my friends suggested me if you want to learn more about Bitcointalk forum then go to the meta section you will learn very useful things. Than I found this post, this post is very useful for me as I want to improve my English. This post shows direction for how to improve English verbal and written which is useful in this forum but also in real life. I will surely follow this post direction and improve my English.

Just a helpful tip, this forum is not the place to come to learn English. There are much easier/quicker/better places to do that. Use outside resources to learn English and visit the forum to read the threads you're interested in - presuming your reading is better than your writing? I'm not going to bother telling you where to learn English, Google and YouTube will point you in the right direction. My advice, stick to your local language section for any posting for the moment, and don't use Bitcointalk to learn English.

Signature space for rent
Your every point is correct and helpful for new member's on this forum. This forum is not only for earning money from bounty. So many thing we have to learn from this forum and old member's. Because those we are new here we haven't much idea about crypto and benefits of this forum. Bitcoin talk is most powerful crypto discussion forum. So here we must use good language and quality post. Thanks for your post I have learn many things from here.

Just in case no one loves you, I love you 3000.
-snip-

I think to help newbies understand with this forum, it will be better to create list of special terms used in crypto space as I see this thread is talking on improving English as communication tools in global thread. But some of English words are misspelled for certain reason perhaps. Here are some of special terms to be used in crypto space:

HODL : misspelled from HOLD which is meaning of Still keep the tokens/coin from selling.
DUMP : Effort to decrease the token value, some efforts are by selling a lot with much cheaper price than normal value or to spread FUD.
PUMP : Effort to increase the token/coin value, some efforts are by buying a lot with much higher price than normal value or to spread good news
FUD   : stand for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. This is usually relevant for bad news or incorrect news.

If only people do their research, it is already on this topic Cryptocurrency Lingo/Slang
