Just found out that this was posted November last year and 12 Bitcoin is huge that time and much bigger last December, I think its better to hold the half and do some business on the other half, make a project, website, store online or exchange it to some money and do some actual business.

can't believe you've made such a strong result! 12 btc out of nothing is a combination of luck and hard working person.
I would split this bag in some altcoins and probably you will get even more. But don't play with margin trading. You have a big funds!

invest some btc in altcoins is a good option. i guess.
this is a choice that still needs to be worried because there are many altcoins that don't last long. different from bitcoin that will survive even though the storm hits every day, even bad news that often appears does not become a barrier for bitcoin to remain victorious

In that situation ideal option for investing will be alt coins. I suggest to invest some part in bitcoin and other part in to top 5-10 altcoins and some % should also be invested in the new ICO's.

I believe that now is not the time to sell bitcoins. Its price is of no interest. So be discreet. and wait for a good price.

you have a really good opportunity to become a rich person in a few years Wink. Divide it to 4 pieces keep 3 btc in your bag. buy wanchain, ethereum and neo for 9 btc. and wait for a bull run. it is a very good time to buy right now.

if I had 12 bitcoins I would divide into several parts . one part I would have brought in cash , other invested in altcoin , the third part would have left in bitcoin

Based on the success and free time that I have, I have decided to research the top 200 altcoins and release at least one analysis of them a day. Will release the results in this group (first 500 to join will get access to the premium group) Link below...

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

if you are afraid of experiencing losses you can follow my advice, that is, hold some bitcoin, buy altcoins with bitcoi with what you have and if indeed you are curious you can exchange the remaining part of the FIAT currency.

if you have bitcoin then it's great. you can keep them close to you when their price increases, you can earn good profit by selling them. and you have to protect them so that nobody steals them. and if you need, you can fulfill your needs by selling them. by the way, the price of btc keeps on rising.

for now, of course you have to hold, because bitcoin has decreased in price. maybe later this year there will be a sharp increase and you can sell it. 12 bitcoin is very much, it's amazing.

in my opinion, you better develop your business in the crypto world. In addition to being able to make investments, you can also follow the ico project provided by the best bounties. and I can suggest that if you have that much btc, it's good that you open a real business that's better

As the market fluctuation is too high, I would suggest to hold as much as you can right now until the price of Bitcoin increases. I see you have more ETH than BTC and the price of ETH is fallen to very low so keeping them would be the best decision.

As you made 0.1 btc to 12 btc in 6 months it seems you are gambling person so I suggest you first store 6 btc safely and for another 6 btc you can start trade with that btc or invest in ico's.

If you still have 12 btc, you can buy 10K tezos, 10K waves and keep rest balance as BTC, and start dreaming of 2021,choose your car, boat, where do you want to live etc.

I think it's best to withdraw half of your bitcoins into cash . the other part is to remain on hold

First of all I congrats you for having 12 bitcoin. I really hope I can also earn some bitcoin like that. Since you have idea on what you can possibly do with your coins I say you carefully evaluate each of it. How? Ask yourself which of the first three you are good at? Or if you want to do that three, divide your bitcoin into it. But you must give something for yourself. Do not put it all. Saving is important.
