In the this year, the value of BTC has been decrease and the market is flooded with new Altcoins, which are taking over the market. So you can keep some of the BTC for future profit and rest you can sell for investing in new Altcoins. But do it this after deep study of the market. Although it is your decision to sell or keep your bitcoins.

For me, take your 12 btc first so long enough to get your value available. Now btc drops $ 9500 which is for me a big drop so you wait to get back to the previous $ 11000 btc.

Based on the success and free time that I have, I have decided to research the top 200 altcoins and release at least one analysis of them a day. Will release the results in this group (first 500 to join will get access to the premium group)

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

If according to me i will choose option 1 2 and 4 at the same time. Definitely 4 might be the dumbest to you, from what i know Bitcoin is one of the highest volatility market and i will sggest you withdrawal abit ot to invest in other instrments that is not so volatile to safeguard some of your winnings, money in the world is limitless you do not need to rush to earn money every minute and seconds.

I think the best idea is to hold some of the btc and sell some to buy in more othere coins to make sure that you can make more money and buy in more coins, I think.

I think that much money you can invest in altcoins. You have a great chance to make a profit, you can keep the market price of altcoins with the money you have. So you can get a bigger profit.

12 bitcoins is very huge amount. I think you should be careful in all details you made since that money is targeted by the hackers and scammers.
You should be wise in all decision that you will make to avoid all conflicts and threats.

If I have 12 bitcoin I will use it for the operation of my mom and my grandmother.
My mom has a cyst on the part of her kidney and my grandmother suffers to her cataract that's why I want to reserve it to their operation. If there's an excess, I will use it for the education of my younger brothers and for building our own house.

Give them to me  Grin Grin I am joking. You better hold you Bitcoins for at least 6 months more and wait to see what is going to be on the Market, then if you can gather a team and have an idea, you can start your own cryptocurrency, i think that you can manage this, without our help, but still. I wish you a good luck.  Wink Cool

my friend you have a very good amount of money my advice to you to divide your plan for investment and that plan should include investing in altcoins, mining, trading.
Yes, it is reasonable to divide your funds into several parts and invest in altcoins and ICO, I would not recommend investing in mining. Now in the sphere of crypto currencies there is a tendency to refuse from mining.

You got some decent amount of money to invest then. Bitcoin is having hard times recently but we all know this is a temporary situation for the king of the crypto currencies. After bitcoin climbs back to 20k you can make some new investments. There are some serious ICO projects will go live in the April so it would be a smart move to invest some of your money in them.

Buy strong altcoins with the 1/3 - XLM, NEO, ICX, STRAT and the other 1/3 spend on Moonshots (after very precise research) and couple of ICOs, the last 1/3 leave in BTC and HODL as long as you can.

You should put 50% of your bitcoin in altcoins, invest it to coins that is going to be big in the next few years like XEM,STRATIS,SC,DGB,NEO and many more. Do your research you will not regret if you will diversify your bitcoin.

Of course, it's better to keep bitkoyn. you can always sell it, it can grow well, and you can earn good money! people who sold bitkoyn in a hurry, at the moment biting elbows! Do not repeat the mistakes of others!
