$ 500 for a top 10 is very little...you need at least 2-3 thousand for a good start to invest. Try to save up before investing better.

Maybe 20 coins is too much for $ 500. Each $ 50 in 10 altcoins may be enough as a start.

You can invest your $500 to any top teen coins or tokens now and hold that from long time sure you will get good returns like more than that what you have invest now or invest in any good rating upcoming ico's. the invest is very risky job so places take care about before investing.

I advise you to invest for a long time in neo. This is a very promising coin. Or you can not risk and invest in eth.

I think it is not enough money to invest in the altcoins, but I recommend you to these altcoins because its price very low at these moments I think its price will be grown in these next few months.

placing $ 500 on four altcoins is a pretty good idea, buying altcoins that have a price of $ 0.01 - $ 0.05 is a very appropriate choice but you should do some research before doing that

You can invest in Bitcoin or ETH. because they are the two leading coins in the electronic money market. But if you want to make more money then it is better to use that money to invest in ICOs

It depends on what you are planning for the future, how much you want to gain and for how long you want to hold your coins, so it is up to you to decide

small investors best way is invest in ICO but you have to lot of research and high risk also there, if you go for safe zone go for some coins in cent, like xpr, ada , neo and even eth you can invest .75 eth now,,,

For me, 500 dollars is a big money because I am a student. To earn $ 500, it will take me 2 months. I think you should not invest in crypto for $ 500. save a lot and then you can invest

For me, 500 dollars I would use to buy two different coins. that's NEO and WAVES. because they are two currencies that will replace ETH in the future. I think you should follow my advice
