Well it is also a great strategy to invest in ico, but i just have some advice for you, before you invest on some ico you should make sure that the project is good and will definitely reach there goal, so you can have chance to earn more money, and i think you should try to invest on ingot ico. It's very bad strategy. I always buy tokens after listing on exchanges. The prcie is usually lower. So it's more profitable.

I think most of ICOs out there is using KYC especially on popular and hype ICO, there always using KYC to participate on token sale. Most of them also banned US country too. I don't know but maybe you can invest by using your friends outside from the US, cmiiw.

There is a chance to run into a fraudulent project which is about 90%. But if you spend a lot of time analyzing projects, why not.
