So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

do not easily despair, I advise you to keep investing because you will definitely get a lot of profits. if after you buy altcoin the price decreases then you have to be patient waiting for the price to go back up. do not get carried away with emotions if you see altcoin prices in the market decline, all you have to do is hold until the altcoin price in the market goes back up.

A large number of inexperienced people bought the bitcoin when there was a hype and such people brought a lot of money to the bulls. Before you invest in something, you need to understand how it works and assess the risks

Try to find interesting ICOs and get your money back. Some projects give x3-x10 in a short time. The main thing is not to invest everything into one project.

Do not despair, because the experience teaches us and can grow on error, then a good perspective and the desire not to stumble so further. So far, the best way to keep on coin.

We are in the same shoe, my present investment in Cardano has reduced by more than 50% which is why I have resorted to bounty to reduce my loss. I think that's the golden rule of cryptocurrency, do not FOMO. But I am sure that the bulls would return, just don't sell at loss.

FOMO is really in crypto world. You c an imagine a coin pump from 2sat to 187sat you then still want to buy the coin at that sat. One have to be patient and careful. The only thing I can suggest to you is to join some airdrops and bounty get back your half and continue trading

If you lost half of your money for the first time, then you need to carefully analyze what was your mistake and draw the right conclusions.

I do not recommend you sell. You currently lose paper but if you sell you will realize the loss. Is it possible to change into other coins that can increase faster and above the price you pay? If you believe they will not fall further then if you do not trade it may be better to resist recovery. after a crash, you should buy more assets at lower prices to lower the average price paid so that the price of recovery will not be so high. Just for the brave ones though.

Try to act, take part the presale or good ICO. Only don't throw all means at once begin at least with investment in 0,5-1ETH. I wish you good luck and good profit! Wink

This is a very hard situation, I do not even know what to advise here... Just hold on and try to save what is left of your coins

This is the most correct decision, until you have sold the coins you are not at a loss, it is important to wait and have patience

The most important not to despair, see all the mistakes and the fact that it has led to them further to continue to earn and advance cryptocurrency.

The best thing you can do right now is holding because you're losing half of your coins and if you sell then 100% your money is gone, but if you're holding , there will be a chance it will bounce back.

The best way out now is to hold the coins. The market is now in a drawdown, you need to wait for the market to grow when most coins will grow. To merge now in a minus-not the best idea.

Fomo and following the hype become the most mistakes that we commonly do. Many people felt the same dude, lost their money because of investing in the crypto. However, it is no need to regret because you can make it back shortly. But, you still have the chances. You can hodl your coins and wait until the price is higher. Probably it will need around 1 year or two, but you can harvest your coins. Here, you can back to your work or participate with us in the bounty or airdrop programs. It is no money to invest.
