Bad news are always there, I mean they can occur after some time or after a good news because that is how the system works. We have bad news lately like the war and that affects the price of the cryptos. They decline and someone will report it and tag this as bad news but this doesn't mean that they are now bad to invest but in fact it is the best time to buy them since their price is still cheaper.

Among the 3 coins, eth has a bad news that seem to be permanent now, because its high fees are not fix yet and they say that eth 2.0 is unlikely to happen anymore. I guess this affects the value of the coin because not all are going to use eth but there is no real problem on bnb and solana.

As you want to hold for long term then you should go for Cardano, Matic, Dot, Cake, Bnb, Avax. You can add Ethereum also in your portfolio. I hope these coins are more potential and promising too. Investment on these above coins can bear good amount of profit. As you are new, you should analysis more before investment.

I think Dot and ADA both solid projects and keep in mind that ADA is still in development. They have good earning potential even if they just get back to their ATHs.
Difficult to say what ADA will be worth in a year but I think somewhere between $10 and $20 sometime in 2023.

DOT is a highly anticipated project in 2022. ADA is one of the oldest projects on the market, also considered the destroyer of ETH. But with slow development nothing outstanding i didn't expect much from ADA.

I prefer to make entries as well on Polkadot and Cardano for now as these two coins are very good to get at the current price as it is a very low discount price for both in the market, while Luna is still very high to buy right now.

Polkadot and Cardano are two coins that have the potential to continue to grow,
I think it's a good decision to buy both and invest in the long term maybe it will give a big profit,

If you are real holder and you believe that holding can worth than these coin which I will suggest can make you portfolio 2x or more these coins are Binance Coin (BNB) ,Solana (SOL) ,Avalanche (AVAX) ,Polkadot (DOT) ,Terra Luna (LUNA) ,Cosmos (ATOM), ShibaInu (SHIB) , FTXCoin (FTT) etc. But there is one condition that you will hold it for 3 years . if you hold for 3 year than I am 100% sure that it will give you huge profit
