Many of the users in this thread just promoted new coins, @OP sonbeo2704 you need to be careful. In my opinion, buying new altcoins isn't a good idea. You don't know how the future of those new altcoins. They can be dead at any time because of very low transactions, or very little demands of buying the new coins. If you really want to buy and hold some altcoins for a long time, you should buy top altcoins and just buy them in the bearish season. Now, we are still in the bullish trend, not the right time to buy now.

If you want a safe option that will slowly grow i would suggest you one of the top coin BTC,ETH,LTC. I personally have a good bag of LTC and in just 3 days it jumped from 200$ to 280$ so i think it a good coin to hold. If you want one of the new ones i would advise you to maybe search into coins that have something with NFT.

If you ask me to name a single coin which can take the whole crypto market by storm, my answer will be Polkadot. Its a great coin with outstanding performance during the past one year when its price increased by 800%. Checked the projects, nothing special but just similiars to another animal tokens or meme coins project which only using hype to hook the investors.
More over it's also not hype enough for a hype NFT tokens, the good side is the founders and developers looks trustful from their profiles.

My portfolio currently consists of 40% BTC, 30% ETH and the rest are evenly spread out between my top fave altcoins - ADA, LTC and this promising gem called PAYB. A DEX bridging BSC to the super-hyped Polkadot ecosystem.
I strongly believe these coins will bring me some good profits in this bull run.

TRX is a coin that has soared rapidly in December 2017 which reached 0.3$. but for several years TRX has not created a new ATH. last month TRX almost made a new ATH but failed only up to 0.18$. I think this is the right time to buy TRX, maybe next December will be a good month for TRX coin holders..?

Long term according to different people, for me the long term is 3 years or more, because this is a very risky investment then I will hold coins that already have a marketcap of at least $ 10 billion, I believe the devs. have the power of money to continue to develop a coin that already has a marketcap of more than $10 billion.

This is boring to buy Ethereum or BNB and hold it. Every third post here advices to buy these two during 100+ pages. The only disadvantage of them is that they are already cost a lost, and a possibility, that in several years their value will triple is quite low. You can invest $1,000 in them and in several years your investment would be $1,300-$1,500 worth. Of course having profit is good. But investing in something else might turn your $1,000 into $10,000. I am not a real expert (and always DYOR), but NEAR is getting strong now.

I don't think cartoon-like coins like this is world to hold for a long time because the hype of these type of coins just happened this year, we don't know the trend is still there next year or not, usually people are moving to a new trend every year and leave the previous trend behind.
So for long time holding, it's better to hold coins with strong fundamentals and clear and realible use case, eventhough the price growth won't going crazy, at least it could create safer feeling for us.

Actually, from the middle of this year, these two coins are very worthy to be bought and held for the long term because the potential is always there and will never run out as long as both are still in a good position in the cryptocurrency space.

The Bitcoin price is stable above 60K and BTC Dominance Index is just started to come down a bit which generally triggers rally in Alt coin so holding SOLANA, ADA, MATIC, AVAX and LUNA is expected to give at least 2X profit because they are all Block chain coins and their use case is quite strong . Ethereum and Polkadot can also perform very well in coming weeks.
