All those alts which hold their position in the top list of CoinmarketCap are the future best project if it has huge supply or something else after all that you must buy this because making his position in top list of CoinmarketCap is too difficult for any project so if any project done this its mean that it has a potential to survive in cryptospace and trader can trust on them and without any worry they can invest their fund safely.
If you want to hold an altcoin for a long term, I would advise you to go for strong projects which are solving real-world problems. They are the promising projects and you can make really decent profits if you manage to stay patient. I wouldn't advise you to go for shitcoins if you don't want to lose your money easily. Because there is no guarantee for them to rise at a great rate. Maybe the coin you invested in will be gone at some point and your money will also.
I have dived into the crypto world since 2017 and, to be honest, have not seen so many worthy projects during this time. I have seen many memecoins / DeFi / etc projects that grew by leaps and bounds but then quickly died. It seems to me that in the coming years, crypto Olympus will be occupied only by those projects that can be used on a daily basis. Nftyplay is one of those for me. In my opinion , the current Trending Alt coins are Solana, Luna, ADA , AVAX, Matic and Luna, all of them have their own Block chain and they have many clients who are creating smart contract by using their network. These coins have shown tremendous growth during the past month and continuedly growing in particular Solana network which is also used for creating NFTs. DYOR.

I think there are some good altcoins to be a long term investment for example ETH, BNB and ADA. I think they have a good future if crypto is well developed.
