So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.
Well i quit trading too just a month ago because i got bored in trading. And after i quit trading the money that i just got in trading well i save the half of it and the other half i spend it to the things that i wanted.

Good decision. It's very hard to make money in BTC trading even you work for it full time. You need to do long term trades (buy at bottom-hold-sell at top), it should increase your trading accuracy.
Long term trading basis is a very safe to do, you only need to Buy and hold then wait it 2 to 3 years then let's see what's the value its gonna be. As long as you can afford to buy then do buy from time to time. Then once you get involve yourself in trading you should stand for it no matter what it takes,.

There's no guarantee that long term trading is a very safe thing to do. This type of trading is good for those people that are planning to quit, I know that trading needs a lot of effort for studying the market on a daily basis and you should be alerted each time their price moves. It's not that bad if a trader wants to quit but he can still do long term trading just like stock market.
Not only stock market I guess, bitcoin is good for long term trade or investment because a lot of people believe it will succeed and because of that they will think that it will be more valuable in the future. You are right that there is no guarantee because it's still a gamble but we calculated the risk and we educate ourselves to make a good decision every time, lazy people are not welcome in trading because trading is for smart people.
It doesnt really need for you to be smart in able to engage on trading as long you are willing and persistent on learning it then it would be still okay. Trading isnt really an easy job because it would takes time and experience for you to learn and making mistakes is just really normal but we shouldnt give up on which OP did now.

trading for me is a pleasure and work. we can get good results when we have the experience. experience is important, so do not ever give up if we had not tried as much as possible. experience will be talking about the end result.

It is a pleasure and work already and for those people that are having hard time to make some money on it and make this as a career.

Much better if they'll look for some other ways to earn, maybe trading isn't really for them.

There are some opportunities that are waiting for them but for those people that are trying hard and coming up to the point of quitting.

They will eventually realize that successful people/traders didn't quit for reaching out their dreams.

Right if op their bitcoin buy altcoin and hold it for 1-3 years and see the result of what happen to the coin and thats good if the coin pump. For example etherum if op buy this altcoin last 2016 of january and hold it for 1 year their money become 6x or 7x and thats so awesome. If Op hold their bitcoin when the day started this topic and sell it now their money become3x . Trading is good for me . Every invesment we some research.

I prefer slow trading over day trading or trading on a weekly basis. It's far less time consuming and it also doesn't involve any stress.

I am quite a frequent trader that mostly comes in action at the time there is enough volatility. Day trading indeed requires you to constantly stare at various open screens that you have, where basically every up and down movement could be a winning or losing one. I mostly focus on repetitive patterns, but some times the market is moving outside the familiar range, which requires you to take an extra bit of risk when it comes to your trades. I personally don't experience any stress, but it is very tiresome as some trading sessions can last like 10-15 hours, and thus prevents me from going outside, or doing something non Bitcoin related.

That's more long to semi long term holding rather than trading. If you're talking slow trading, then it's a few weeks to at most a few months. Bitcoin's volatile nature lends itself perfectly for that. I have been doing exactly that from the very beginning, and thus far it has been working well for me. I prefer slow trading over day trading or trading on a weekly basis. It's far less time consuming and it also doesn't involve any stress.

actually, no one will stop your decision about it. Only you can make a good result for you to gain more profit into bitcoin world. Though, you know the meaning of quitting was not good to anyone but to others its a positive side.
yes that is right to quit trading is not a good decision. i think that if you think that you cannot make good profit from trading then you shold try to change your trading strategy. but to quit trading is not a right decision.

I think why you want to quit trading because you loss some bitcoin because you do not make a research before buying altcoin. Trading is not easy but if you really want to earn to this you need to be hard work and patience . more people quit also trading because they don't have a patience and skills. If you want to invest your remaining bitcoin I think the best way to grow your bitcoin is to invest in ICO this gives you reward after ICO ends and you can earn profit from it but be careful many ICO now are scam . Invest only who have trusted escrow.
yes winning and loosing bitcoin is the part of trading and some time we make money in trading while other time we even lose our own money in trading but it does not mean to lose heart, i think we need to continue trading with changing strategy.
yeah you are right that winning and loosing is the part of trading but sometime its depend on you if you are not expert in trading and you do not have any experience in trading then you will much lost and if you are expert then you will get a good profit.
In order to be an expert trader, you must lose several times and you have to carry that risk. You'll get your knowledge not only from exprience but also from expert traders whom can share his/her knowledge, and from forums and articles which can used to get some knowledge and effective guide in trading.

Trading is not a one day job , neither it is like you go and trade blindly. If you really want to succeed in trading then you should first have a through knowledge of the coin you are trading and its past history.
Correct trading will need long time to earn specially if the altcoin you buy was slowly to increase its value and also agree that you need to have more knowledge in trading because trading is not easy method if you only know is to buy in lowest price and sell if the price goes high that is basic you need to learn about all coin which have a potential to increase its price.
Agree with you. Trading a long process work to make profit with have good idea and skill to choose the correct decision instantly. Trading market always changing, you should update with it. In my personal opinion, with connected altcoin trading you can make good earning in few days.

That is a really big investment, I don't think you should stop trading, I mean you was deposited such a huge balance (I think) and with that amount I could get many profits. I don't want to say that you aren't a good trader but maybe you should read more before decide to start trade

i am agree with ko0ll0ove said and i think you have good experience from trading so you can make big money in the other time no matter if you only have loss. but if your decision is make and you really want to quit trading, then you can quit without regret and maybe you can comeback someday and doin trading again like before.
Losing 7 BTC from 47 BTC is just a small portion of your capital in trading, I thought we trade with the amount of money we can afford to lose. With that, we should keep pushing until we reach profit and use our experience to improve our method. If I'm in the position of OP, I will only quit when I lost all my capital in trading.
Then if your capital is 47 BTC if you lose all before you quit trading? I get his point quiting is not always becoming as a losser sometimes we need to quit for better of us if we can't do it right . 2 years is long time and i know he also makes profit there and i relate on his situation .Not only trade is our work ,we are busy on some things or business and its hard at all to trade without monitoring your coins you can't take advantage on earning profits .In his situation i understand to quit but if he have a full time or everyday time to trade i am sure his experience will be worth it and will pay more profits.
