there may be time to get out of trading, when the price rose to a high bitcoin. Well, it never hurts to stop trading for a while. but, when you quit for good, I think it will only make you lose, especially when you have an expert in such matters.

Quitting for good is your decision. Theres no guarantee in trading. We all know that trading is like gambling and also risky. If you dont know what coin you are holding better prepare yourself to be rekt and get hurt.
i do not think that trading is as risky as gambling. to me i think gambling is more risky than trading. in trading we use our skill and experience while in gambling we mostly depend of our luck.

I do not think that quiting trade is good or for good as trading is a nice and high profit service and there is a guarantee in trade but first you need to learn trade then try to start trading and only for newbie trade is like gambling as they rely only on luck and do not know anything about trade.

Quitting trading is cause by many reason like for losing and don't want to happen that again and some for winning because they don't want to loss their money and many more, but the main key for quitting is to not loss their money whether it's win or loss. But for me it's fun to trade as long as you are trading only your spare money.

And that's why there's no reason to quit trading. We know how risky it is but once you started to earn that much you will not going to let yourself forget and quit trading. Many people are experiencing lose and bad things as they trade but for those traders that aren't going to give up, they are the ones that will harvest their hard work.
The traders usually quit trading if the price in the market down continue, but I think it
was just for a moment. We are can come into the market again due to the price has been
recovered and increase back. So, if we are a professional Trader will not do quit from trading.

Nah, They wouldn't quit for that reason because as you have said the market will certainly rise again. So I'm sure that traders knows that unless if they

are newbies. But some people take short breaks because of that and you won't be able to call it quiting as it is one of their strategies. Based on

reading various threads here, I can say that most traders quit trading because of experiencing a great loss and feeling that they won't be

successful on trading or thinking that it is not for them.

Hard Work is needed and I agrre with you but it is not enough we need to work smart too. a lot of thing that we have to do before we trading such as perform technical analysis, fundamentals and trading plan. every trader has their own indicators that tell them when to make trades or not. but sometimes we also can make mistakes and end up losing, and this is normal. Even a professional trader also experienced anything like this. so in my opinion do not give up because after difficulty there will be ease.

Good decision. It's very hard to make money in BTC trading even you work for it full time. You need to do long term trades (buy at bottom-hold-sell at top), it should increase your trading accuracy.
Long term trading basis is a very safe to do, you only need to Buy and hold then wait it 2 to 3 years then let's see what's the value its gonna be. As long as you can afford to buy then do buy from time to time. Then once you get involve yourself in trading you should stand for it no matter what it takes,.

There's no guarantee that long term trading is a very safe thing to do. This type of trading is good for those people that are planning to quit, I know that trading needs a lot of effort for studying the market on a daily basis and you should be alerted each time their price moves. It's not that bad if a trader wants to quit but he can still do long term trading just like stock market.
Not only stock market I guess, bitcoin is good for long term trade or investment because a lot of people believe it will succeed and because of that they will think that it will be more valuable in the future. You are right that there is no guarantee because it's still a gamble but we calculated the risk and we educate ourselves to make a good decision every time, lazy people are not welcome in trading because trading is for smart people.
It doesnt really need for you to be smart in able to engage on trading as long you are willing and persistent on learning it then it would be still okay. Trading isnt really an easy job because it would takes time and experience for you to learn and making mistakes is just really normal but we shouldnt give up on which OP did now.
Op has spend a good time and a good amount of bitcoins in trade but he is unable to earn money in trading and even lost that is why he is disappointed and is leaving from this field. I will suggest to invest in any other place or to start a business with these bitcoin.

I'm sorry to say, but I find the term 'fun trading' that you are using to be complete nonsense. If money is at risk, then there is no such a thing as 'fun trading'. It can be called fun trading when you're making use of certain apps or sites that allow you to trade with a fictional balance. Everything that involves real money can't be called fun from my understanding. Actual trading is a serious practice -- no joke.

yeah long term trading is very safe and profitable and 2 or 3 year holding bitcoin is very profitable because i am sure bitcoin will be double its price in 1 or 2 years and i hope bitcoin will be more advance in these 2 years.

Many people quit trading for various reasons. Some of not good results, lack of funds or big losses. The thruth is that Bitcoin trading is not so easy anymore and the most experienced, dedicated and skilled have survived in that business. But if you have lost more than you have warner and if you can be on trading platformes 24/7 than is better to quit.
to me i do not think that it is such a good idea to quit trading because of loosing money i think you should change your strategy and planing about trading and hope you will be successful one day.
I do agree that quitting is such a bad idea because if you are a real trader who have a lot of dedication then quitting is just a fantasy and you should stay in the game and continue fighting to the battles of trading. If you are getting bad results then treat them as a lesson and make them as a basis to do better decisions and performance.
That's why we think life is unfair as those circumstances happen .Not all traders are learning from their mistakes they over do it especially the newbies who have no guide or trading with their own without asking for someone who trade .
In the fact that quitting is not a good idea but, i see there's a time you need to quit not because you are a losser but it is for better .I am trader also and i'm not good i think i have a lot of coins stock for long trades as i loss big amounts of being a scam or a dead coin but i need a right timing to start again and being ready overall.

Yes, as I said it's good for those people that are planning to quit. They can simply let their coins at their cold storage and just do what they want to do and leave it there. And maybe after 6 months or year they can get back into and will look on how much their investment is cost right now. Hmm, trading is for everyone especially those who wants to learn.

I think why you want to quit trading because you loss some bitcoin because you do not make a research before buying altcoin. Trading is not easy but if you really want to earn to this you need to be hard work and patience . more people quit also trading because they don't have a patience and skills. If you want to invest your remaining bitcoin I think the best way to grow your bitcoin is to invest in ICO this gives you reward after ICO ends and you can earn profit from it but be careful many ICO now are scam . Invest only who have trusted escrow.
yes winning and loosing bitcoin is the part of trading and some time we make money in trading while other time we even lose our own money in trading but it does not mean to lose heart, i think we need to continue trading with changing strategy.
yeah you are right that winning and loosing is the part of trading but sometime its depend on you if you are not expert in trading and you do not have any experience in trading then you will much lost and if you are expert then you will get a good profit.
In order to be an expert trader, you must lose several times and you have to carry that risk. You'll get your knowledge not only from exprience but also from expert traders whom can share his/her knowledge, and from forums and articles which can used to get some knowledge and effective guide in trading

I don't think this is really required

At least, not in the sense you might mean it, i.e. losing your deposit a few times. For example, in the wild there may be no second chance after you got eaten, but animals do teach their offspring somehow to effectively evade predators. The trial and error approach would be utterly counterproductive in such cases for pretty obvious reasons. It is the same with trading, if you set up yourself this way, i.e. "you must lose several times" before turning into a pro, you will inevitably lose but whether your chances to become a real pro actually increased would still not be certain or given at all

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

That is a really big investment, I don't think you should stop trading, I mean you was deposited such a huge balance (I think) and with that amount I could get many profits. I don't want to say that you aren't a good trader but maybe you should read more before decide to start trade

i am agree with ko0ll0ove said and i think you have good experience from trading so you can make big money in the other time no matter if you only have loss. but if your decision is make and you really want to quit trading, then you can quit without regret and maybe you can comeback someday and doin trading again like before.
Losing 7 BTC from 47 BTC is just a small portion of your capital in trading, I thought we trade with the amount of money we can afford to lose. With that, we should keep pushing until we reach profit and use our experience to improve our method. If I'm in the position of OP, I will only quit when I lost all my capital in trading.

The right thought. Because with the amount of funds or simply rely on BTC that we have to use as trading capital will not be enough to give you an advantage. Indeed the most tricks and how to deliver tangible results is on the experience we have, by relying on a good experience will give you a good profit. But I need to know the primary key in the play trading is on self control and analyze us. If we can speak and then I'm sure profits will always be within us

You can spend or find a dealer to get some cash on your/other bank account. Pretty simple
