So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

That is a really big investment, I don't think you should stop trading, I mean you was deposited such a huge balance (I think) and with that amount I could get many profits. I don't want to say that you aren't a good trader but maybe you should read more before decide to start trade

i am agree with ko0ll0ove said and i think you have good experience from trading so you can make big money in the other time no matter if you only have loss. but if your decision is make and you really want to quit trading, then you can quit without regret and maybe you can comeback someday and doin trading again like before.

Sigh a 7 BTC lost while trading wasn't that much 2 years ago but now holy...... is a lot of money ...

Despite of losing 7 BTC's for his entire trading career. He is still happy about that and since he is asking about what should he do with his 40 bitcoin.

Why not he just keep on holding it and have some mBTC for trading again start up again with smaller volume of trades.

So while waiting for the price increase, he has something to do.

I think why you want to quit trading because you loss some bitcoin because you do not make a research before buying altcoin. Trading is not easy but if you really want to earn to this you need to be hard work and patience . more people quit also trading because they don't have a patience and skills. If you want to invest your remaining bitcoin I think the best way to grow your bitcoin is to invest in ICO this gives you reward after ICO ends and you can earn profit from it but be careful many ICO now are scam . Invest only who have trusted escrow.
yes winning and loosing bitcoin is the part of trading and some time we make money in trading while other time we even lose our own money in trading but it does not mean to lose heart, i think we need to continue trading with changing strategy.
That's why trading is risky you must know what will happen the market is volatile . For me when you Learn the things not all but atleast you learn from it including your mistakes to be corrected after that is the Earn that you will gain .He is on halfway and i think its not lose at all .maybe he just roll all of his investment and not take the capital. That's what i experience and it triggers me to correct and make some adjustments in trade.

Well, time changes everything.. You should have hold that amount so you will be reach by now, if only we can tell what will happen in the future then we will surely be rich by now. But reality is reality, we have to face what is happening and we do actions based on the present situation, forget about the past as it's time to move on and continue to take opportunities in front of us.
correct. regret today is a strange thing. I think you already know the risks that you face when you start playing trading. Well, if you lose money as much as 7 BTC in trading, I think you might play in a fast manner.

What ever may be the cost a loss is a loss and even 7 bitcoin is a huge amount of money at the  moment but the OP does not regret for the experience he attained during the time he traded .It is just a learning experience and he should have learned without losing this much amount if he was really careful about his investments.

That is because you are a day trader but if you are just going to buy and just hold, that is still trading and you don't need to put so much effort with your trades. In that way, you will no say anymore that trading is so tiring. You can still get profit even you are not going to monitor your trades all the time, you just need to wait for the price increase.
This is a nice suggestion, but for now i'll stick with my strategy as a day trader. Maybe i'll do it later if i can't trade daily anymore.

If you say so, I can't stop you with what you love to do. Good luck to your career as a day trader. You are free to do it anytime, that is just my suggestion and wants to help who are willing to adopt other type of strategy when it comes to trading for those people like you.
Yes, sticking with trading or quitting it must be done solely based on our decisions. This decision also must be taken based on the experiences we are learning from trading. When a trader is capable of booking more profits he will never think about quitting similarly switch trading type also must be done after some analysis.

Yeah when you are already earning good amount with trading for sure the word 'quit' is not going to come to your mind anymore. Because that is giving you benefits so why there's a need to quit for it. And also if you are going to quit, that will be one of the regrets in your life when you see the price of bitcoin is on top in the future.
most of the people decide to quit gambling when they do not succeeded in trading but i hopelessness is a sin and if you want to become good in trading you need good trading skill, experience and knowledge and if still you are becoming succeeded in trading then you should try to change your strategy about trading and then you can certainly succeeded.

Theres no sense to regret now and as you said no one really knows about the future and indeed those 7 btc of him would really be a big amount if we are basing on the currents price for sure we would really regret if we lose that but into those times bitcoin price is less.

Well ,as far as i know and the OP losses some big amounts in trading and it is so disappointing if you are in his situation .It is hard to trade knowingly even the good traders losses ,we don't know actually what he feels in losing that big amount of Bitcoins . We have different thinking and action about what we've experience . But if i am like him ,i will continue trading if i learned some lessons form my mistakes .Honestly i loss too about 1btc higher active coins are dump but i am not discourage because there are some i can get advantage and i start again earning profits . Its all about risking ,i will risk for my success as long as i learn i will go back in track.

I guess the primary reason why people quit - not just on trading, but in all other profession is that, it is not for them. No matter how hard they try, it just won't work for them. If it works for them, they might not happy and find things which makes them happy.

If they on time realize that trading isn't for them and quit as result, then they have done the right thing in order to prevent themselves from experiencing further losses. There are enough people too stubborn to admit that they suck at trading. Instead, they keep gambling their money at all kinds of coins in order to find something that suits them. In normal circumstances you would say that they learned an expensive lesson, but these people keep making the same mistakes resulting in loss after loss.

That is correct. Trading is not for all, if you feel that trading is not for you and no matter how you will learn the skills and strategies and you are still not having winning trades, then better get out from there at once. But if you feel that you still like what you are doing even if you meet with challenges, then this is for you - winning trades will be in no time as you move forward.
in fact trading need some skill that one cannot get or gain but they are God gifted. and therefore not everyone is perfect for trading, i think they can better fit in gobs or other skill. trading need a lot of experience and knowledge also.

Probably that's the real cause, it's for them and they don't like that career. Because no matter what how good you are into something and how big money you are making with it but if that is not your passion and you don't love what you are doing. In the end, you have no choice but to leave that and pursue what you want.
We all have different perspectives in life, different paths to take. It doesn't matter anyway if people in trading because they don't feel any success their. What important is they learned to move forward and see what's next step to take in their life. But, for me having knowledge in trading is a good start if you are in the mindset of business.
I agree with you . with a mindset like that then we can get the best results. every opinion is commendable. and trading is one way to business success. but everyone has their own way.

That is right. It is all about passion and what we love to do because if we found out already what is our passion then the income will follow and you will earn money without noticing it because that is how the big names of people earns money because they push or pursue what they love and they focus on that then now we can see like bill gates already have a lot BILLS on his pocket.
