Yes off course. There is no doubt on that Ethereum is the best coin next to BTC. They both are rulling the whole market. And people are investing without any doubt. Although bitcoin crossing all record but still Eth is using mostly everything .
So, in my opinion there is no doubt that Ethereum is arguably one of the best cryptocurrency Altcoins after Bitcoin. Ethereum has a real use case in the market, even Ethereum also gives me a pretty big advantage. besides that Ethereum also plans to update and give hope to our program application. and on the other hand I hope Ethereum 2.0 can increase transaction speed and solve other problems, especially related to transaction fees, which are still expensive.

It depends on what you mean by the word "best"... At the moment both of these cryptocurrencies do not show themselves as the best for example payment... Their blockchains have crazy fees! Although if you look at them as investments that have made huge profits, then yes, they can be called the best! 
I think that is about to change if ethereum can't solve the issues the community is experiencing right now, and there are two candidate in my opinion can, its cardano binance , and binance are making its mark, with low fee's and fast transaction, I hope ethereum have already making solutions about the issue , or else they might be replace by others in their position.
Ethereum cannot replace bitcoin. both are different concepts. Bitcoin as a transaction and also an investment in the concept of creation. while ethereum as a platform for Blockchain. The ecosystem of ethereum is now so large that people's trust is also high. but to be able to replace bitcoin I think it is impossible and impossible. the post was from 3 years ago and its outdated because eth was the king of altcoins before with no tough competitors but 3 years later many things have changed including eth now have a disadvantage and the real competitors of eth are now have been born but its up to you guys if you are a hardcore supporter of this coin and you still believe on it no problem and besides eth have some advantages left because its value is still holding and going strong but its not a perfect choice anymore for other use case

We'll have to wait a few years to see that 2.0 update finish. I am with when the update is complete then ethereum supply in the market will be fixed and I think it will obviously improve eth coin for the better. My answer is yes because I know that ethereum really has potential so investors continue to hold and buy ethereum because they see that it has a future and it can be used one day even though the price of ethereum dropped a lot back then but it recovered this year, ethereum has a lot to offer, so it can be said that it will follow bitcoin and I also know that many altcoins have potential and have a future in the coinmarket but we can not say if it will be next to bitcoin because many altcoins on coinmarket are a huge benefit and help our world today.
While I agree that ethereum bus so advanced compared to others you have to feel that they must act soon to catch up with gas fee problem or wait for competitors like BSC and DOT to take over

I started to like crypto and being an enthusiast with it lately. I had read many articles around in the internet and found some good attributes regarding on the different kinds of crypto in the crypto market. And i found out that ethereum is a platform which also supports mostly of the altcoins being introduce by its mean using ICO. Conducting a project from the crowds budget and in return from the contributions are the giving of tokens instead. And afterwards the tokens will be used in an exchange they prefer to partner with.
