What about the ripple? I think in coin market cap, the ripple is still gaining momentum out in the market, It overpowers other altcoins and replaces ethereum in the second rank.

The fact is that the topic was created almost a year ago, at that time the Ripple platform was not so potentially developed and in demand as it is today. And in General I agree that Ripple has really surpassed the expectations of many investors in recent years, and despite the current situation in the market, this coin was able to win the credibility and trust of many users. Therefore, as an investment coin, Ripple is very promising.

The Ethereum platform has many advantages for which we should love this coin and invest our money in it. I believe this platform is an integral part of the entire crypto currency market.

In terms of technology development and mass use, yes, but lately the developers have completely forgotten about the support and think that the forks will decide everything. Even ripple them hints at improvements, but while we are waiting for something.

I think ICOs only see the ethereum as the most popular blockchain to perform their schemes of either quick funding or an easy-to-do project. Ethereum is not the best and it's just people still see it as the trend for building crypto projects. I think Eos, xrp and neo are far more better than that trash.

that was before but today . xrp/ripple is the one that is on the second spot based on coinmarket cap rankings . eth had been de throned many times by different alts therfor we cannot easily say that eth is the next big thing next to bitcoin . for the eyes of others , eth will always remain the second best crypto because its litterally the second built coin after bitcoin and this is the only alt that can provide gas to be able to trade other alts and erc20 tokens .

Maybe last year we can said like that because ethereum could raised about $1,500 and now check how lower price of ethereum only have $110 and it lower price at this year for ethereum, hope one day later ethereum could raised up at higher price.

in the coming year ethereum will not be called the best. ethereum is like walking on the spot, there is no growth and eth investors know that. that's why ethereum slowly fell and began to be abandoned. plus there are many better projects like EOS, Stellar and others. so if ethereum does not renew, they will die.

It all depends on the criteria by which to choose the best cryptocurrency.
For example.
Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency on trust from investors, it has the highest price and capitalization.
Ethereum is the best cryptocurrency on the basis of which you can create new projects.
Ripple is the best cryptocurrency in speed of operations in the network.
And so on this list can be continued.

There are so many alternative cryptocurrency next to bitcoin. i can't tell BITCOIN is the best because there are some project who has a good pproject.
BITCOIN will be superb in terms of price in the market and ranking. but in terms of project there will be more than it.
Ethereum is good but not alone as there are more competitor in the industry.

I like ethereum coin. Because most of my cash out was made on ethereum because of its outstanding security and its a more kind of a user-friendly coin. And no doubt that ethereum was next to bitcoin, because proof of it, it was on the second rank spot in coin market cap next from bitcoin.
