It is going in the same way as it has been for the Indian team for the entire tournament. I would say KL Rahul has been excellent with the bat and behind the wicket. Every time he gave advice correctly to the captain and he has been very aggressive as a batter too. The asking run rate is more than the current run rate and it would hurt the New Zealand team. India looking good for now and if they continuously bowl in the same manner they would eventually go to the finals. The dew factor has already come into effect, it won't be that easy for the Indian bowlers now.

Both of them especially the latter built his inning around Kohli. One played an anchor inning and the other opted for an aggressor so it worked out perfectly.

Also, you have to look at how Kohli went to his inning after scoring 50, his last 67 runs came much quicker with better SR and that's his template throughout his career. The batters did their job now time for the bowlers to finish the job, hope good run for the bowlers.

Besides personal accomplishments, this really helps his team in getting a huge total. Another explosive inning by the captain of the Indian team felt sorry that he missed out on his half-century just by three runs. The original partnership started with Shubman Gill but unfortunately, he is retired hurt and he is not able to continue his innings. The best opener of India has played their part, now middle order batsman starting to end the innings. I think this is not the best opening not only for India, this is the best opening in this entire World Cup.
