Before the start of this match I was also expecting and same happen but still their bowling were much better than last matches, and they have achieved their target in bowling but sadly their batting is still not able to achieve things which are into their reach which is surely poor performance from their few veteran players because they need to lead from front in these situations.

Now situation is very interesting because Sri Lankan win bring them to second spot and tomorrow match is important who is going to be into final with rain still having impact on next matches which can make things more interesting because right now any prediction is not possible.

Now Sri Lanka having streak of 13 matches win which is second best behind Australia it's really impressive congrats to them and their fans as well.

After hard fight Sri Lanka have won the match by 21 runs. Bangladesh started well, and all of the sudden lost four consecutive wickets. This built pressure upon Bangladesh team. Mushfiqur Rahim along with Towhid Hridoy built partnership and withstood wickets. Once Mushfiqur Rahim lost his wicket, consecutively wickets started to fall at regular intervals. On the other side Towhid Hridoy stood strong and tried his best to win the match for Bangladesh. Finally Bangladesh had 11 balls remaining and 22 runs required, but no wickets left. I think the Bangladesh team did a good job of fielding against Sri Lanka. Because Sri Lanka couldn't score too many runs against Bangladesh today, scoring 257 runs with the loss of 9 wickets. Now Bangladesh batsmen come down to bat and lost 4 wickets, if Bangladesh batsmen try to win today's match then definitely possible. But the batsmen of Bangladesh need to improve their batting performance at the moment, otherwise they will never succeed. Accordingly, in order to win today's match, the players of the Bangladesh team must have a good batting performance to increase the runs. Bowling first was not a bad decision for Bangladesh. But it was a bad decision for Bangladesh to field Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das quickly. they were very excited and worried which led to a quick out. they should have been fielded later. Bangladesh still need 126 runs in 18 overs to win the match which is still very difficult for them to fulfill. they scored 132 runs in 32 overs, how will they collect 126 runs in 18 overs. Although it is possible to do it, it is still doubtful whether it will be possible for Bangladesh.

Not a good start for Srilanka, already lost 1 wicket and the current RR is below 5. The main concer for Srilanka would be get this partnership going. Any more wickets and their RR might fall more. Bangladesh bowling is looking good for now as they are able to contain the Srilankan batters. The more they restrict them from scoring run, they would start getting frustrated. Eventually they would try to let themselves go after the bowlers. That will cause them to lose wickets. As of now the match is looking intresting, hopefully it doesn't get interrupted due to the rain. The weather prediction in Colombo does says rain for today.

Yeah! Today's match is important for Bangladesh. I did check the odds of this match and found that Srilanka is favourite to win. Bangladesh has not been performing consistently both in bowling and batting. Except Taskin Ahmed and Liton Das all other players are their to visit Srilanka. Even the captain has not been able to make a mark in any of the matches played in the tournament.

Srilankan team is looking good. The last match that they played against Afghanistan was a thrilling one. I never expected them to snatch the match out from Afghanistan. They have been bowling very good, both seamers and spinners are effective. They have some issues with the bat, that is still manageable when bowlers are backing up. My favourite would be Srilankans team for today.
