Bangladesh lost their third wicket of Shakib Al Hasan when the scoreboard was just 70 runs and now Mushfiqur Rahim and Towhid Hridoy is building a partnership and they already scored 54 runs and they still need 120 runs to win from 16 overs. Since the target is not that high and if they can rotate the strike and not loose wickets at this time, then they can challenge Sri Lanka and i wont be surprised if they go on and win the match. If SL can give a target of over 275 runs then it won't be easy for Bangladesh to chase that target under lights. Not a good start for Srilanka, already lost 1 wicket and the current RR is below 5. The main concer for Srilanka would be get this partnership going. Any more wickets and their RR might fall more. Bangladesh bowling is looking good for now as they are able to contain the Srilankan batters. The more they restrict them from scoring run, they would start getting frustrated. Eventually they would try to let themselves go after the bowlers. That will cause them to lose wickets. Yeah! Today's match is important for Bangladesh. I did check the odds of this match and found that Srilanka is favourite to win. Bangladesh has not been performing consistently both in bowling and batting. Except Taskin Ahmed and Liton Das all other players are their to visit Srilanka. Even the captain has not been able to make a mark in any of the matches played in the tournament.

Rain can disrupt today's match between Bangladesh and Srilanka. I feel that the ACC should have given this match also the same preference like the match between India and Pakistan but, that will extend the schedule of this tournament. I am hoping that today's match doesn't get abandoned. The frustration of cricket fans like me of not being able to enjoy a cricket match because of rain interruption is now making this tournament unenjoyable.

I will place India and Pakistan ahead to win the Asia Cup title. Because the players of these two teams are all performing extremely well and these players are really experienced. And we hope to see a great competitive match between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup.
Agreed. At this point both India and Pakistan seems far ahead of the other two teams in Super-4. BTW, weather conditions are a concern. India vs Pakistan match is scheduled for 10th September, at Colombo and heavy rains are ongoing there at the moment. I don't know whether the match will get completed or not. Yesterday the ACC decided to continue hosting the matches in Colombo, rather than moving them to Hambantota or Dambulla. I was quite surprised by this decision. Colombo is pretty much inundated right now as a result of heavy rains.
