You are right the match has started and at the moment it is well balanced. Earlier Pakistani bowlers were getting hammered due to the Indian opening pair. While I watch the match and write here, Pakistan is back into the game. Both Shadab and Haris are able to stop Rahul and Kohli from opening their hands. Rahul is looking good as whenever he gets a loose ball he hits it for a 4, while Kohli looks to be struggling at the moment. Luck has been favouring the Indian batters a lot today and at the same time the rain gods too. The match is evenly positioned for now, unless the present batters go after the existing bowlers. The current run rate is still above 6 percent. There was a time when the Indian team run rate was 7.5.

India had a terrific start, both opening batters were hammering the ball everywhere on the ground. Rohit Sharma started very shaky, at one point he had only 10 runs after facing 24 balls. Gill on the other end was too agressive in the meantime and was taking care of the scoreboard. Then Rohit too become agressive but got out because of beautiful catch taken by faheem. Gill followed him with a lose shot.

Pakistan is back in the position to take control of the match. The wicket is not helping the bowlers at the moment. Virat is out batting and if he continues then it won't be easy for Pakistan. They would be focusing in getting his wicket from now on.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to field because of the pitch condition and they were not able to grab the opportunities offered by India in the earlier stages and now India went on to score a century partnership, but now they have lost their openers in quick succession, Pakistan needs to contain the run flow, if not India will score above 330 runs and probably win the match.

Indian both openers prepared well for Pakistan best bowler Shaheen shah afridi. Shubnam gills is in full attack mode and boundaries are coming for shubnam gill. Today gill batting is totally different from previous and look like he is easily read the Afridi and playing where he want to play. Naseem shah bowling is impressive, the pitch is in the favor of him. he is bouncing the ball and Sharma is looking in the trouble to face naseem shah. These two batsmen are very dangerous. Pakistan need breakthrough here otherwise we will see 300 + score because lots of batting is still back after these two.

Pakistani Captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bowl first against India in the Super Four game of the Asia Cup 2023 at Colombo. Just checked the betting odds, Pakistan are the favourite for theis match. As far as I have seen the match between these two teams are always unpredictable. It is always a pressure match and the team that is able to cope it wins the match. Current performance of the Indian team is not at it's best. They are seen struggling with bowling and batting. The opening batting pair looked clueless in the first match with Pakistan.

While Pakistan bowling attack has been all around. Every bowler in this team has taken wickets and have been precise with the line and length. Their batting looks a little bit shaky but the lower middle order has always come to the rescue. It won't be easy for the Indian team to defeat them. Above all I hope that the rain should not interrupt this match.

Agreed, the uncertainty always continues with these two teams. Based on the way India played in the previous match against Pakistan, it looks like Pakistan have got higher chance of winning. Most of the experts had mentioned, India somehow escaped and now it have got an opportunity. This time there can be small changes in the squad. In the previous match against Nepal Rohit Sharma played well whereas he struggled against the Pakistan left hand bowlers. Within few hours the match will start and today the weather condition is perfect in Colombo. We can't be sure of the nature, it can change anytime.

I will keep the Pakistan team ahead in this match. Because we are seeing very good performance from Pakistan recently . Because this team is in very good form.
