You are correct the tournament now depends on who wins between Pakistan and Srilanka. Absolutely certain that Pakistan won't feel comfortable when they play with Srilanka. Srilanka knows that they have good spinners to tackle Pakistan batters. Pakistan knows they do not have excellent spinners to tackle the spinning pitch of Colombo. The way Pakistan batter played against the Indian spin attack has to be the tipping point for the management to reassess the current strategy. Overall they need to reorganise themselves to win the game tomorrow.

After watching them play against the Indian spin attack I felt Pakistani batters are vulnerable to spin bowling. They seem to not understand the pitch, I mean the team management. Why did Pakistan after winning the toss opt to bowl first? When they knew rain was certain. It could be that they became overconfident after the first match. Then we have the Captain who thought it would be safe to have a defensive fielding. Before the ICC World Cup, it is now evident Pakistan and Sri Lanka have to rethink their strategy for the upcoming biggest event.

SL failed miserably in the last match against India. The target was achievable, but kudos to Indian spinners. The match between Pakistan and SL will be interesting to watch. SL spin bowling will cause problems for the Pakistani batters, Babar Azam will be the key wicket. Fakhar is out of form, and the middle order is not performing up to the mark. Plus, there will be forced changes in the Pakistan bowling lineup. It will be interesting to see how Pakistan batters handle Lankan spinners and how Lankan batters perform against Pakistan bowling. I will give Pakistan a bit of an edge in this contest over SL.

Seam-bowling allrounders were always a rarity in Indian cricket, but now there are two of them - Hardik and Shardul. And then Venkatesh Iyer is waiting in the sidelines. For spin-bowling allrounders there was never any scarcity.

At the start of Asia Cup 2023, India were the underdogs. Pakistan and Sri Lanka were favorites to play against each other in the finals. Now, they would be playing against each other to get into the finals. Yesterday again I saw a totally different Indian team playing against the Srilanka side.

The Indian batters struggled to score runs on a pitch that had uneven bounce and supported spinners. Srilankan spinner Welalage was the reason the Indian middle order got wiped out in just a couple of overs. Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets, Bhumrah took 2 & Jadeja took 2 wickets. What was even more surprising was that Srilanka lost this match by a good margin of 41 runs on their home ground. They were undefeated in their last 13 ODI matches which got broken yesterday.

The match is still well balanced as per my understanding, It would make things more interesting if Srilanka gets another wicket in the next few overs

If Sri Lanka takes a wicket in the next few overs then the Indian team will face many difficulties and become under a lot of pressure. If Sri Lankan fail to get wickets then India has a chance to set almost 300 runs target. In today's match, Sri Lanka bowlers showed amazing performance. Dunith Wellalage was fired on an Indian batsman. He took top batsman wicket of India like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. The performance of Rohit Sharma was almost outstanding he scored 53 runs in 48 balls and after that ,he got out. Next Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill's performances were not good. At this moment, the India team scored 150 runs in 30 overs one more wicket taken by Dunith Wellalage and now total he took 4 wickets. Now I think India gave a 250 to 270 runs target but Sri Lanka plays quite well.

In this match I think Sri Lanka have more chances to win. Since there are enough wickets in hand, if this wicket pair shows patience then they will confirm the final match besides winning this match.
