I don't like Afghanistan's batting. If Afghanistan want to win against Australia then it is impossible to win with such batting. Afghanistan lost 2 wickets in 29 overs and scored only 136 runs. Afghanistan scored 4.68 runs per over. Since they lost only two wickets, Afghanistan might be able to give a target of 260-280. However Afghanistan's bowlers can give a tough fight against Australia if they provide a target of more than 280. There is no way to call the pitch batting friendly. It will be more difficult for Australia to score runs in the second innings on this pitch. But it will not be an easy task for Afghanistan to provide more than 260 targets.

Although Bangladesh are 7th in the points table, it is not yet confirmed whether they will qualify for the 2025 Champions trophy. England at 10th position are having two remaining matches - against Netherlands and Pakistan. If they win both these matches, then they can overtake both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Also, for both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, next matches are against tough opposition (Australia and New Zealand respectively). Netherlands may not qualify for the Champions trophy, and I am interested to know who will be the other unfortunate team to get that distinction.

I just watched highlights of Ban and SL, it was quite interesting (highlights being interesting is quite rare, not even Pak vs SA highlights were this interesting), couple early catch misfields helped Bangladesh win, I would say.
Overall performance of Bangladesh yesterday was good especially Taskin Ahmed bowled brilliantly despite not getting a wicket and scored 39 runs in just 10 overs in which case there was a maiden over. Moreover, Nazmul Hasan Shanto and Shakib Al Hasan returned to their performances after a long time and scored 90 and 82 runs respectively. After all yesterday's match was not an option for Bangladesh to win that's why everyone tried to give their best and managed to win in the end.It was a match between two of the weakest teams in this tournament and in the end one of them won after a lot of drama. Before the toss against Sri Lanka I thought maybe Nazmul Hossain Shanta and Liton Das would open and Junior Tamim might not be included in today's XI but he got another chance in the XI and he failed to prove himself again. Junior Tamim is a stylish cricketer and has enough shots but needs more experience. Little can be expected from junior Tamim before he can contribute well to the team when he matures a bit more. Bangladesh won this match by three wickets against Sri Lanka and by winning this match Bangladesh keep their hopes of playing Champions Trophy alive. Although there was a lot of drama in this match against Sri Lanka, still Bangladesh won this match by ending this drama.Bangladesh management should not keep Tamim in the squad. I say this because Tamim is not a Test batsman. Young batsman Tamim is not experienced enough. The Bangladesh team needed experienced batsmen on a big platform like the World Cup. However, Bangladesh does not have any opener who is capable of consistently playing well. Anamul Haque, Saumya Sarker and Imrul all have the same situation. We have not seen any opener consistently play well. And the main reason for Bangladesh's poor performance in this World Cup is the poor batting of their top order players. LOL.. impressed whom? What he did was against the spirit of cricket. Angelo Matthews requested him not to go for the appeal, as he had issues with his helmet and had to search for a spare one. Even the umpires asked Shakib twice not to go with the appeal. But he still went ahead. It was a match which would have been won by Bangladesh without all this drama. But now it will be remembered as a stolen match, which was won through unfair means. This is not something that was expected from an experienced cricketer such as Shakib al Hasan.
