If they are unable to retain the fans then eventually ODI will struggle to attract fans like the Test matches, few ODI are played in the past several years as the focus shifted to T20.

Expected a good match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, but a disappointing performance by Afghanistan after getting a good start and loosing 10 wickets for 109 runs.

Afghanistan did a very low score and gave a poor target to Bangladesh. They are all out in 37 over and scored just 156. The target of 156 is suited in T20 but this is one-day. This target is so poor and I know that the winner of this match is Bangladesh. Rashid also cannot play well in this match. I think this is not a good match for Afghanistan. Cry

The way Afghanistan started batting first, it looked like Afghanistan could score 270-300 today. But there comes a time, Afghanistan's wickets start to fall fast and because of that wicket fall, Afghanistan cannot turn around. Afghanistan lost all wickets in today's match and collected 156 runs in 37.2 overs. Bangladesh started the 2015 World Cup by winning their first match. Bangladesh started the 2019 World Cup by winning the first match. And hopefully Bangladesh will get off to a good start by beating Afghanistan in the first match of the 2023 World Cup. Dharmashala pitch is generally good for batting. Fast bowlers do not get much from the pitch, spinners can use it to their benefit. Let's talk about today's first match, AFG start off with a steady rate as of now and looks to play their best to show their level of existence and I am so eager to see if they can win against Bangladesh.
