10 min and I'm still downloading blockchain on my NXT wallet, is it a problem for incoming trasactions?  Grin

Do we need NXT address to invest in the ICO? I thought the tokens will be left on the ICO website still the end of the ICO for distribution

DeepOnions for the WIN!
I read the White Paper.

I have a question - where does all the actual data get stored? The blockchain is NOT the place to store data. The White Paper does not address this.

Please answer this question: where does the data get stored? Say you have a 1Tb database that gets replicated to all the nodes. Surely the 1tb of data is not actually stored on the blockchain?

Yes! Data is stored in the blockchain! Smiley Using private blockchains (as an example, nStratis will have completely customized private chains) the data is stored in the blockchains. Modifying how data is stored from input to blockchain is where dAppsheets come in. I do not expect people who aren't the company using dAppsheet to download the private blockchain, or even a public one. They will interface with a web GUI if the dAppsheet is available for public viewing.

OK, thanks for the answer! I was just thinking that Bitcoin only allows a few characters of data to be stored on the chain itself. So I assume Stratis allows this? But does Eth and WAVES also allow large amounts of data to be stored on the actual blockchain?

Is there an example of something like this working? Or a more detailed document that shows more technical detail? I am still not convinced, unfortunately.

I am looking for another small gift to buy my Wife for Xmas as she said she prefers we invest her Xmas gift in a few good projects. I would like to try and invest within the next 24 hours to claim the bonus as I think this will make her happy. I think this project has a lot of potential and looks very serious. I will look tonight to participate in the ICO.

Darcrus: Enterprise, Everywhere

Steven Grove, the founder of Sigwo Technologies, has recently announced the crowdfunding initiative to fund the development and marketing of the Darcrus project and its business-oriented dapps (decentralized applications). Darcrus will focus on providing software and consultancy solutions for businesses that wish to integrate distributed ledger technology into their infrastructures, creating multiple revenue streams for its token holders through a “Proof of Holding” reward system.
The DAR token will start on the NXT Blockchain until the Waves Platform is fully functional. The rewards will be based on a buyback program on an exchange or through disbursement via NXT’s or Waves’ native system. The  rewards for DAR token holders will come, not only from the profit generated from the sales of Darcrus software and services for companies, but also from the SIGFARM mining operations, which started in April 2016.

DAR is a Chinese coin, looks pretty fishy.

What an irony, you are carrying Antshares signature and you are calling out another seems to be Chinese project fishy. Darcus is not Chinese, do you research well Sir

Haha that's the 1st thing I thought, where is this coming from when you have an Antshares signature
