In ICOs, it's 50/50. Especially, with you being recently just heard of it. It requires a lot of research and you'll often find a lot of scams in the past. It's risky and hard to pick a project that you can invest with. You have to really know the platforms to be successful with that project.

But since the beginning of this year
The story has drastically changed
Most icos I invested in this year are selling below ico price currently
I will advise even my enemy to stay off ico right now until the market is a lil bit stabilised

You can not sure any information about their team are real except you have chance to meetup with them and exchange about the ICO project.
However, I think it is also not enough to sure that information is true, because you can not know exact their ID card + real address they live or old job

Buying a coin on the ICO you need to roughly expect that some coins may not rise! Therefore, you should buy as many coins as possible, a minimum of 10 to begin with. Which coin will go up now or after, and which nobody knows.

Some ICOs are good most are lousy investments, be very careful!

1. Only invest up to 10% of your liquid net worth into crypto-currencies, anymore and you may regret it. Do not invest if you have unsecured debt.
2. Only invest up to 25% of your crypto-holdings into ICOs
3. Carefully research ICOs before you invest. Make sure to read their whitepapers, look at the quality of the website and development team, their past successes and the road map.
4. Join the telegram group and read what some ICO websites have to say about them, watch videos, read blogs. Do your research!
5. Make sure you have a proper wallet, not some software wallet and you have at least an intermediate level of knowledge.
6. Buy a small amount of your favorite coin, I am talking less than 1% of your net-worth. If the bonus sounds too good to be true, it will likely crash as soon as it is listed on an exchange.
7. Hope that one in three or four actually make a small return and one in twenty make it worthwhile. If you think every ICO is going to make you rich, you are wrong. Also if you hope to get rich investing in these, you probably shouldn't invest in these.
8. Most investments will have to be held for years before they are worth anything, if you need the money don't invest.
9. I don't recommend investing in ICOs, crypto-currencies or anything which you do not thoroughly understand

if we believe in and selective on projects that are based on the team and other developers we can be confident to invest in ico and we do not need to be afraid to lose because surely if the team and good concept ico will make a successful investor

Quality ICOs are indeed a good investment tool. You can be sure of that. However, you should examine their team and projects well. Otherwise your money may be gone.

ICOs are good investment opportunities but very very risky.
So it is always important to carry out thorough research before investing in a project and never to invest more than you are willing to loose.

The amazing thing about ICO is a single project can make you ridiculous ROI but you can never know 100% beforehand

If you pick the right project - your incomes may be just fantastic...there are certain amount of risk, of course, but still that's a good way to invest.

I do not think so.

I've joined ICO and just once, by coincidence, when the ICO finished the price soared to 2500%, I only had time to sell at 800% of the price I bought. I think these months have been pretty much scam ICO, and should be very observant if you choose ICO, I recommend to search youtube channel that show ICO review or who held a LIVE with the ICO team. i just use ICO for instant profit and not for long-term investment.

A great opportunity is not a great project for speculation . I saw many projects are growing like ponzi. Just listed on major exchange, a new startup without any product still can has high price in the token value. It is look like the dot com bubble.

Well, if you get the right ICO, this could be the best investment of your life, as in some cases you can make millions with just a modest investment.
Of course this is not the general rule, but if you choose wisely you can expect in any case a good return.

I think it depends and we may have different thoughts about because we may have experience different situation of them so we may have dofferent opinion. But you can make it goo for you with your own wisdom.

Yeah of course it is a good investment though you have a small capital, you can make it big in the future. Many of ICOs right now have gone well, they have a good reputation to every investors and to the community. Altcoins ICOs is one of the cheapest ways to invest and got a high returns in the future. You can make a lot here in the ICOs, it depends on the Project platform recognized from the team. If you think that platform can change the world for the better and it will gives you a better then go for it.
