I saw the prospect of MTC coin success. In less than a month, there were 3,000 participants. Fast forward, otherwise you will end up, and you will regret it.

If you are really early on the exchanges, it might be worth it to buy there

How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

With current situation in the market - it became more profitable to buy on the exchange after the ICO - it's extremely sad, to be honest... I know a lot of good projects which lost like 50% of price after the ICO.

Should buy ico after exchange because then the risk will be greatly reduced. After the exchange price will be more stable because the sale activities are no longer occur as before. We have a stable exchange community. I think about 3-4 months after the exchange, decide whether to buy or not.
If the ICO has very good ideas and the team is transparent enough, the community is large enough, harcaps for ICO level should buy ICO or after exchange if the price is not too high compared to

In 80 percent of cases, the price of a coin falls on the same day after ISO. Statistics are very sad, investors are suffering.

Is that your gut feeling or are you a statistitian?

in a position like this I am a little confused, if we buy at the time of ICO there we participate in the success of the project, but in fact when the openmarket prices in the market is not as sweet as we think.even more profit in the market

I prefer to buy them at the time of ICO only because we are going to get a bonus from the company at the time of ICO. After listing in the ICO we have to buy them at a higher price.

Most of the time the coin from ICO drops down when it is finally listed in the exchange sites.  It dumps and some investors grab it to invest more to gain more.

Sometimes, i wait for the coin to be listed in the exchange site and when the price drops i usually buy some coin because it will surely rise.  But of course,  i usually choose a good coin before i finally invest.

The advantage for investors who follow ICO before the coin is launched to the free market is the price given will be cheaper. And usually when the coin is launched the price will jump, so in my opinion better join ico

I agree with you completely. ICO participants receive coins much cheaper than the market price of a coin. When a coin enters the market, its value most likely grows. This gives a very large profit to those people who already have these coins.

Buying tokens in ICO is not always profitable specially if you dont have experience to choose good projects. Even sometimes good projects can not perform well.  Exchange prices are depend on circulation and volume of coin/token. Best possible scenario is to keep doing both: Participate in ICO and buy from exchanges later  Wink

When you buy tokens on a pre-sale with a large discount, it's more profitable than buying them on a crypto exchange.
Yes discounts when buying on new and running ICO token while buying on the market already leads to the first high concern ,if there is a massive dump of whales to force sell our valuable assets and gain a profit buying in low value or trying to elevate quickly ,so we buy at the highest value then the whale drops the value ,Opportunities exist only at the time of the birth a project

When the coin's price drops after ICO, its usully not worth getting into at all. Look for practical projects that have palce in real-life industries, not just something relevant in crypto-sphere or even just Internet.

The bear market dumped most of the ICO's released in the last 2 months. I don't know what will happen with the market on April. But if bullish or neutral market comes back it would be better to buy at ICO's
Right now you can check dumped long-term projects that will award you only if you are patient enough.
For the future ICO's I would rather buy ICO

If you are financially capable of buying your target coin from he market, then go on as this is the right time to invest. You can hold them until the next few more months.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on ICO stage right now and already on the exchanges, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/future-of-privacy-ethereum-meta-foundation-of-anonymous-e-marketplace-2659058

I think it's good to buy on the exchange. ICO now makes you lose money most of the time, and it's very risky.

There is no real fixed rule but it depends on many factors; if the ICO has a lot of hype, social follower, users that follow and support, solid and well-known team, etc. then it is very likely that it will have a good success on the market

On the contrary, if the team is new, with a very ambitious but unclear project, imbalance in the sale of tokens, no agreement with real companies, etc. then it is better to wait for the quote on exchange, because it is very likely that its price will be much below the ICO selling price.

There is also a third way, however, that is increasingly widespread in today's ICO: this is the whitelist or pre-ico, or even better as a private investor in the project (perhaps making a rope or group with more friends). In this way you get much better conditions on the token price in ICO and then you can sell immediately on the market, with a much higher return to investors who participated in the ICO.

Have found out that what you pointed out are mostly true from my experience.

Normally, hyped projects perform well in the markets after the ICO and peaks faster.

Being in the pre-sale is the sure way to guarantee you get solid rock bottom price on ICO if you have the proper amount though as they usually sell it in bulk.
