yes, ICO will still survive if the projects keep it transparent to its investors. Many times we see that the ICOs which happens independently or manged by own company or without involvement of exchanges, they do not update accurately about the actual funds raised. I think that due to greed, many people fall into the situation of losing money in ICOs and many MLMs were produced in 2017. The current ICO is not much, but a new way to sell tokens is through exchange. It helps investors feel much safer
Yeah the only way to cumb scam is to increase the level of our knowledge and avoid jumping on any how project without due diligence check. I believe why the scammers hard a fair fest in 2017 was due to lack of adequate knowledge on the part of the investors but know most investors have learn they lesson and build their knowledge on new projects.
If there is something can regulate ICO, i think it will bring back the investors to ICO again. Investors left ICO because there are so many scams on ICO and investors not trusted ICO anymore.
