As u see there are many ICO's out there. But be careful in choosing a project. We may never know if its a scam or not.It is somehow risky. But read on their thread then look out about their team and read about the project too and you also need to study the whitepaoer as well to know more about the project

Not all, but a certain percentage is, as however in any other sphere, be it real estate, investment or even ICO.
The only way to avoid scammers is to carefully study startups, technical documentation, team and other attributes. And if there is no desire to take risks, wait for listing on an exchange.

Some of the ICOs are the scam, and sometimes even a newbie can understand it (for instance, when the project does not share the roadmap and the whitepaper). This stuff can be helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlGhL1B7m30

I like everything that is happening now with the EOS project and the gaming platform developed by the guys from the EON, it's really a big breakthrough for the gaming industry and new opportunities for developers. We will be able to enjoy with you quality games from developers who used to spend a lot of money so that their product appeared in the public domain for purchase on centralized sites.

Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.
You could alos consider using rating sites in your preliminary elimination process for eliminating scams.A project that already scores low on major rating sites should alredy warn you to be very weary.I typically pay more attention to those that score high

Unfortunately it is very dangerous to invest in any projects now. One mentioned above about a clear analysis of the company where you want to invest your money.
But even this can not guarantee you ultimate success.
Long time ago in the Russian locale I wrote a large extensive article about how to select the right company correctly. I still can not translate it into English.
And so there is a lot of useful information in that article.
Sincerely yours.

ICO is bad and there is a very legitimate ICO. Unfortunately, there are magic eight balls that tell anyone who they are, but if you take some time to read about the document and the development team and understand how real this technology is, you can get a better idea of what the ICO will be part of.

The only answer you are like;y to get is to do intensive research about any particular ICO before you invest into it.
It is very hard to tell from parameters such as nature of the project, etc whether all not an ICO is legit.
I mostly consider the team but I sometimes do think it is a matter of luck.

In the past year ICOs are really great ways of maximizing the return on your investment if you are lucky to find a legit one, but the landscape seems to have changed a bit. I would recommend following a few credible influencers in this space for you to know legit ICOs as most of the influencers are also selfish in bag shilling to their followers, hence identifying the credible ones.

Well some ICO's are legit and some are scams as have been proven over the last few years.  To find good ICO's it takes tons of research.  Even at that point you can still get screwed over.  It will also take a lot of luck as well.

There is some ico's legit, but mostly I think they are many scammers. So you need to be aware of scammers and they can steal your money or get your money by investing in their tokens. You need to check their feedback, especially teams if they are connected with each other.

Most of them scam, so I try to invest in only that ICO which have a good team of members which have a long time experience in these field plus they are already members of successful ICO. This tends to increase trust in their system and also note their market potential and idea as it also help the ICO at the end. This is usually seen from the movement or sale on the ico if successful then very few opportunities to become a scam and if it fails then many possibilities ico or the project is a scam. In the world of crypto, always put on your minds that all people here are anonymous. No one can give assurance to our money. But there are factors that will help for you inorder to know if ICO is scam or not. First, you have to visit their website inorder to know informations regarding the project. Then in the bounty thread, the bounty manager must be a high rank position and have at least Legendary rank and no negative trust. This is only  a basic guidelines and I hope it can help.

Most of the ICOs is a scam.
These scams may have difference, but they all have one goal - to steal your money.
Scams, that happend at the moment of the ICO ending - very simple scams, and this is most popular of them.
A little more complicated with scams, that imitating activity and even listed at exchanges, so potentially they steal more money.

I think about 30-40% of ICOs are legit, which is pretty discouraging for investors. We can't know if it's a scam until their tokens hit the exchanges.

You can still find legit projects with innovative ideas out there, it is a matter of research, take your time because if you do find one that is worth it the rewards may be greater than what you think.

Most of them are Scam.
Better to look at working businesses.
Most ICO fall sharply after listing, thus most wise businessmen don't invest in ICO, but instead buy tokens of interesting project after ICO at lows.

I can not comment on ico in this year. there are some ico that are scam and successful. If you are lucky you will get a successful ico and have a high price on the exchange.
