Too bad all those good ICOs are now replaced by scams that created by greedy people. Unfortunately most them are scams but i haven’t lose my hope completely there still few good projects around to participate in.

Of course, among them you can find worthy projects that have not only an idea, but also a working business. But now it is quite difficult to distinguish scammers from a prospective team.

ICOs are most likely legit. There are some ICOs that are scam and not paying out but most of the ICOs is legitimate. I have joined an ICO and its totally worth while because i earn some big cash by just joining in an ICO. Yes ICOs are a long term event but some of it is not that long . Just be careful everytime in joining some ICOs because all your efforts and time will be wasted if you joined in a scam ICOs.

I agree with you, sometimes they are scam so beware. Ico's can be good if they are actually a good ICO. When they have a good team and a good project it will surely be good.

But most of them are going to fail i think because everyone wants bitcoin first.

You cant say in general if an ICO ist Scam or legit. They are so many really good working ICO's. Also somany good Icos with good project and devs who die after some months because nobody is interested in. But in this case too you cant say it was a scam. They are probable some ICOs who collect money, and then the Devs hew of with the money.
There are lots of ICOs and while some have a good project backing it up with a working product, some don't. So, we cannot say all ICOs are scam or they are all legit. They are just a lot of them and while some are poisonous, some aren't so it is in every investor's hand to research on the ICO they are investing so they do not get scammed.

A lot of ICO are like statups. 99% fail. Startup aren't scams. Just over ambitious. And a lot of these ICOs are victims of their own success. Markets over valued them so now they have no where to go but down.
That is just one thing about ICOs and we cannot really say which will end up failing or not. However, some are really not ready to succeed in the first place as the devs absolutely had the mind of coming into the market to scam investors which is why every investor should always stay careful so they do not get robbed of their assets.

Many of the leading countries including United States call these projects fraud and scam. On the other hand, there is nothing illegal when a group of enthusiasts declares that they have a brilliant idea that in future will bring millions billions. The worst thing is that most ICOs fail.

most of ICOs are scam or overvalued. if not they suffer from unexperienced teams and no dd value projects.

like butterin said, ICOs like Startups. 90% of them will fail.

In determining on scam ICO, you must read the whitepaper carefully, read of what is their goal on our crypto community. Some ICOs are not scam, they will become scam because of unsuccessful ICO, they couldn't provide tokens any longer but it is also depends on the situation we could take. Just still believing in them that they can do it.

Currently, most of ico is legal because the ico project is not as old as it used to be. Now many projects are filed by the government, but there are still many liar projects such as malicious airdrops and direct ico-money ico.

ICO should be legal, and many countries have declared that ICO is legal. However, the ICO still has certain problems and requires some supervision so as to make the cryptocurrency market healthier.

I suggest you to read their whitepaper and understand what they are going to offer.Analyze if their product has any value in the market  and predict how it is going  to perform when it is live. Also see if their team is legit

no one can exactly tell if the ICOs are legit or scam, some of them are legit and some of them are scam, but what we can do is to do further research and always check their background.

You can't categorize all ICOs in one column. There are good ones and bad ones same as nature.
Community is not tight so bad ones are hunting good ones.

With proper oversight, the ICO has decided that 21st-century new financing will be pretty good, allowing companies that need financing to get the money they need to develop and we can get good returns

At present, ICO has been legalized in many countries, but some countries call him illegal. However, the ICO is indeed a product of the new era and we can profit from it!

It is true that there are ICOs who do not know the gratitude and want to excel others. But we can avoid it as long as we are careful about choosing the ICO's in which we're participating. Let's take a closer look at their project, you can research about their development team, read their whitepapers and what else. We need to do that just to make sure it's legit. That's what I do when I have a project to join.

Not investing in an ICO is a nice way of not letting the scammers getting the money. Just wait till the coin is live.
99% of ico crash bellow their ICO sale price. So patience pays off

Yes.
But most of the ICO's cannot come back. I guess it will be all in the hands of the developers amd its team after the ICO.
If they can make their investors hold their coims then it will pay good afterwards.
But mostly they panic. They might need a good promotion just so they can make them stay. Like bonuses with holders that will really pay off after a long time.

We must take a deep look into the projects. I'm sure most of them are scam, but there are also some that have a really nice potencial and you must invest. You must take your time to analise the whitepaper and see who is part of the team
