I think altcoin will die but soon enough it will if it doesn't find way in the market like what bitcoin did. As we can see bitcoin is already accepted and ready been use on paying things, some altcoin is just under speculations.
People already take the risk on the volatility of bitcoin, I don't some are ready to take another risk again after bitcoin dies. If this situation happened.

It might depend on the reason why Bitcoin can die. In case when the death is due to total ban of Bitcoin as done by all governments or regimes then there is a possibility that Bitcoin death can also mean the death of altcoins. Now, if the reason can be other than that or it is within Bitcoin like losing the appeal from the market then there is a possibility that another coin can rise up to take the vacuum of leadership.
I also think if bitcoin dies because of loss of attraction and consumers. ETH will take over Bitcoin because we know that ETH is the most popular after Bitcoin. how do you think about that?

In the first place why will bitcoin die what could be the reason it has already bounced back from all the fuds and overcome all adversities, but if ever it will die there should be a new cryptocurrency that can take over where Bitcoin left off, but I'm 100% believer that Bitcoin will be here for a very long time.

It depends on the reason.....I always believe that BTC could only die if - and only if - the global network of interconnections (i.e. Internet) dies....so if that happens; all Alt coins will definitely die as well

Most altcoins are priced in btc. If btc dies, I don't see how people would pay USD for altcoins. So, yes.
What will really decide whether Alt will also die, will be what led to the death of bitcoin. If what lead to bitcoin's death is as a result of successful attack on the block chain and serious compromise to how secure the block chain is, then Alt might not die with it but just take a nose dive to bounce back again but if the death is caused by ban or government then the total death is imminent because government will not singlehandedly go against bitcoin, but the entire cryto-currency.

yes, the possibilities of altcoin to be gone is very high if the bitcoin will be also dead. We all know that the father of crypto is bitcoin and it is known for the first decentralized money. Since, there are many platforms who use bitcoin to be more exclusive. Many ICO depends on bitcoin as their payment.
You can see when bitcoin price falling also alt price falling and more percent than bitcoin.

Altcoins can exist even there is no bitcoin because they just need to create a good idea for a coin and try to do some advertisement that will help them to let the people know their coin and even bitcoin is falling the altcoin will not completely fall because it has still markets where you can buy some altcoins too for investment purposes. Good question. But what could really kill Bitcoin? Probably an excellent replacement.. and that would be "Altcoin"...or maybe will not be considered as alternative-coin anymore after relegating Bitcoin to the Altcoin bottom.

We're not sure about that, I guess it would just have a big effect on Altcoins and Dollars but they will not die just like that, and bitcoin would not totally die, the right term for that is "shutdown". Bitcoin will remain alive but it priceless, since it is decentralized, it is impossible to die just like that.

It would be terrifying to see if bitcoin will die because it will make a huge impact on all altcoins. We can even feel it today whenever bitcoin is failing so is the other altcoin, what more if bitcoin die.
