If ethereum die, for sure etc willbe next number 1 altcoin and for ETC will become high price. But i think it is affected alsp because they also ethereum partner. But as of now i dont think will ethereum will die because even the price of ethereum dump today it will increase again next week and it will back to 350 dollars each and for sure after few months the price will become $1000. Buy ethereum now.

I think waves because it have already hosted few ICO without any problem but it still needs to be tested with high volume of funding in fraction of seconds like some ICO are having with ETH based ERC20 tokens which have fu**ed up ETH network.  Grin

ether won't die, but it can be knocked down a few pegs.
If ether's failure is a big reason for their large decline, due to smart contract issues, bloated blockchains, and other crap (dao hack, etc)

then the only smart replacement would be NEM. That doesn't mean that the market would see it that way, because NEM's marketing team sucks.. but it can do smart contracts, namespaces, mosaics, public and private blockchains, and soon will be re-released in C++ (catapult) Not to mention that once catapult is released, it will be thoroughly tested and vetted. It will be released for the private blockchains first, then public later.. I'm excited because it really can/will be able to do soo much. But it all hinges on IF it can manage to catch on, which is no sure thing.

Ethereum will not die but will lose the value of the sale price ..
But for now etherum is very valuable, if etherum really is not valuable it may take a very long time.

Ethereum will not die. It will only lose value and another one will replace it.
Think about it for a while: ETH is increasing value because of its over-valued ICO and everytime some of those ICO starts, the ETH network is congestioned and slow.

I'm not saying that we won't see ETH at 1000$+, but it will lose value when some alternative will take place.

Ethereum will not die, it will survive used by those companies that are starting their business on it.

Now I'm looking for some Ethereum alternative Smiley Let's see what Rootstock will bring..

If etherium dies many altcoins will be affected for those who is under on his side. I hope it will continue living like a bitcoin.

I agree with you, other altcoins will be affected once this Ethereum will dies. Actually ethereum has been continuosly adapts by other bitcoin users. So in my own point of view it will still in demand in the market.

If etherium dies many alternative cryptocurrency  will rise for sure. And the race as the first cryptocurrency will probably change. And if the number one contender of bitcoin as the first crypto will die. Everything we know in the race will change also.

If Ether dies, money will move back into bitcoin. Bitcoin and Ether have a mirror relationship in that when one is rising the other falls.

As to which alt will replace eth if it does - oldies like Litecoin and doge will have a chance, after all they've been tried and tested and are still here.
Doge? Come on. LTC may replace BTC but it CANNOT replace ETH. Ridiculous.
