If regulation didn't come we would keep having scam projects every period of time as nobody would be there to monitor them and exchanges will be busy listing them up and down ..if there regulation it will curtail the spread of scam and fake tokens. So without regulation it might be tough for Cryptocurrency and blockchain in general. We really need regulation so as to move ahead and regulation will also help the market .

If there is no regulation we can protect ourselves from the threat of scams. By choosing projects carefully, analyze correctly. If a little is not right,
don't follow the project, don't give it a chance whit the scammers. Or more easily follow the projects held or sponsored by large exchanges like
Binance, Coinbase and Yobit, because these exchanges can help protect us. And the latter must be active on telegram channels and social media that discuss their projects, whether the team has a good track record or act. The point is to be extra careful in investing in new projects, protect your money from scammers.
No exchange can protect you from fraud, you decide where to invest and bear responsibility for it.
Regulation will come and this will be soon, i guess. And i dont sure that this will be good for crypto
On the one hand, regulation will be beneficial, but on the other, not. But in the future, cryptocurrencies will radically change the financial system.

We would be forced to consider that the amount of scams would never reduce. This is the biggest problem of todays industry that we cannot attract new audience because the image that scams are damaging is just awful.
Another point that we can consider while understanding how regulation will help this industry. With boards that will sort projects before allowing to exist it will reduce the numbers of potential scammers that hiding beyond crypto projects. Though it's not a complete assurance but it can be useful to give some protections to people who still considering this venue of investment.

With or without regulation it's very needed to protect ourselves by keeping educating in any updates that will be useful to add in our skills.

For some reason, it seems to me that in the future we will recall times without regulation as the golden age of the crypto market. It is very difficult to say how everything that is happening now will affect the crypto market in a year or two. Regulators are steadily and steadily advancing in the crypto market, this is noticeable with the naked eye. On the other hand, this could result in a new form of financial system.

I doubt there will be a thing where crypto will be regulated generally. Only thing that could happen is most countries regulating crypto in the confine of their countries, the same way SEC regulates securities in USA.

That would actually be good news for blockchain. It means that if there is no regulation, cryptocurrencies will not be interfered with. If there is no intervention, cryptocurrencies will make their own place more comfortable in the free market economy.

Because the private sector is always much more efficient at using resources than the public sector. In this way, the crypto world can further solidify its place.

Who says we will be able to protect ourself even if crypto is regulated globally. We can see crimes happening daily in our life despite the fact that Cops/CBI/Courts are there to fight crimes.
Similarly, even if crypto will be regulated, there will be scams happening everyday. There is nothing much we can do about it other than to educate ourself enough to stay aware and alert from such scams.
You have a point pal but do not compare real life criminal acts to digital, its more worse, you are using COPs and FBI and courts to judge but we don't have any of that in crypto space yet, just imagine how the world will be if there is no COPs and FBI and Courts? its nothing but road to more crimes
That's exactly what my point is. Just think that despite of Cops being available for us, still we face crimes.
So even if crypto will be regulated, we won't be immune to crimes/scams. It will still happen but just in a different way.

I don't think it's going to be very good for the decentralization of cryptocurrency, but it's good for the spread and use of cryptocurrency around the world
It will be good for all cryptocurrencies in the long term. the regulation will help clear the market from unnecessary coins that are now empty or scam and then other crypto will begin to receive new investors

Cryptocurrencies are already a billion-dollar industry. If states carry out regulations prohibiting cryptocurrencies, this would seriously damage the world economy.

I don't think there will be any serious moves to ban cryptocurrencies from now on. Because a lot of countries already have a positive outlook on cryptocurrencies. We can say that we have gone down an irreversible path, especially with companies such as Amazon, IBM and Facebook entering this sector.
You seem to be exaggerating the influence of cryptocurrencies, the mayor's market cap is only about $ 200 billion, equal 1/5 of Apple's capitalization, which is too small compared to the size of the world economy. Therefore there will be no serious damage as you said.

If regulation never come anytime sooner can we protect ourselves? how can we protect ourselves from crypto monsters hiding in disguise, especially bounty projects coming into crypto space with full force, any ideas ? I know many are going to say we should do better research before promoting projects, is there any strict blows we can give these monsters by ourselves ?
So far who can protect themselves from the threat of cryptocurrency is ourselves, therefore we must equip ourselves with deeper knowledge in the world of cryptocurrency. If you have a problem regarding a project scam, IEO might be an alternative but you must remember to only follow IEO from the best exchanger. Cryptocurrency has a level of freedom of transactions that is too high, and therefore the benefits and disadvantages arise.

If you want to make investments in cryptocurrency companies, then you don’t even need to study some project to invest in it, you just need to invest in projects that conduct IEO on the most top exchanges and then you will always get profit and will not run into scam company, but for participation in bounty companies, here of course only studying the company will help.

At the moment, we really cannot do anything about that. We just need to be wiser in taking these bounties or in investing in these projects. A regulatory board would be great in designing and implementing policies regarding establishment of such projects, and someone would be held liable if objectives aren't met. It's not really centralized if that's what other people think because the board is only there for policies, not for handling funds.

Don't be swayed easily because someone advertise a project to you. Indeed, it is wise to research for you to know more about the project. We need to determine if the project is legit and if what is written in the white paper is realistic enough. Different countries have different regulations and some don't have one so be careful on our own since there is no one specific regulator of what is happening in the crypto industry.
