I think people prefer stocks because they think that stocks are more definitely profitable for long-term investment and for the future, despite the fact that crypto is also profitable for the future. they also think that cryptocurrencies have a greater risk than stocks, they don't really care about the benefits of crypto being greater than stocks. because they don't want to take risks, and most of the people who invest in crypto in my opinion are people who like challenges, but the opposite is for people who choose stocks.

It is true. Stocks and crypto both have risks. some are able and willing to take risks in the more volatile crypto market than the stock market, and some are not. some people are willing to try new challenges, and some are not.
We can't force it, everyone has their own passion.
who need to realize that we must be able to understand the risks well, and not join just because of the hype. must have a basic knowledge.

People are not the same. Some people like investment with higher profit and higher risk and some people like to invest in something that common. Stocks share dividend, so with certain amount of money someone can get profit just the same with employee salary. I personally prefer like to invest in cryptocurrency because it is easier to access and probability to gain more profit is bigger.

I don't think it's not that strong, crypto market is already strong and there's already the support from different countries and as well as financial institutions.

But it's not just big yet as the stocks market. That's the thing that stocks does have right now and it's not as volatile as crypto but people are having more confidence of investing in cryptocurrencies as soon as they've understood it.

To think that stocks and forex had been on this market for long years before crypto exist and this is why its no surprise that
people or institutional investors would be much prefer into something that had been deal up with years and also with legality
then stocks do have it which it isnt present on crypto.
When it comes to volatility then theres no doubt or question to that and this is why lots of stock traders or investors had just
jumped to crypto because of that profitability differences but still its hard to believe on that they would be completely
leaving it.

I believe that many people who invest in stocks simply do not believe in cryptocurrencies and consider them to be a high-risk asset. I have a friend who has not invested in cryptocurrencies because he believes that this is all a hoax and he cannot make money on them. But somehow he nevertheless decided to invest in one cryptocurrency and lost money since it was the cryptocurrency of one project, whose aldmins simply disappeared with the investors' money. This was his first and immediately unsuccessful experience and after that he decided to invest in stocks. I haven’t seen him for a long time and I don’t know how he is doing, but this is one of the cases in which very often beginners get burned by investing in cryptocurrency. I know that he just chose the wrong project with the wrong cryptocurrency, but that happened and now he will definitely no longer invest in cryptocurrencies. Here's a sad story.

Yup, welcome to the casino depicting stock market that you do not have holding power, you don’t have one from the beginning, the number you see on the screen is at the mercy of the casino they could at convenience delete the number from your eyes when they see fit, everything you own in the stock is not yours you never even own anything as they suggested, the only thing you can achieve in this casino aka stock market is surrender all your money and died, DIED! Literally died, you have a few choice to die, jump off from high buliding or give a call to suicide hot line to consult their advice, or you can just DIED. Btw you have no control over anything in the casino, they have total control over you that include your date to DIED. So do you still want to buy stock??

not all investors are willing to accept new things, and crypto is still a new thing for them, crypto is indeed profitable it's just that stock investors are more 'safe players' they don't like big risks IMO.

In my opinion, as someone who buys stock, investing stocks that works in the real industry much difference than just holding assets, and there are also many types of stock as example such banking, industry, etc. most people had tought stocks its long term investment with lowest risk and that is true.

Stocks is mainly for long term and sure income. I believe its all in a matter of personal knowledge where you are comfortable with investing. Crypto's volatility is quite scary and some people aren't breed for it. Old and wise people know and understand that it is historically proven that stocks price goes up as time goes by meanwhile in crypto, it is quite stirred up with positive and negative feedbacks added with scam projects.

have you noticed that many people in crypto complain about their losses but it wasnt for not having a diamond hands but its also the coin that they invest in .
also not all have heard with cryptocurrencies but if you know a friend or relative that is still into stocks , you can recomend crypto trading and investing with them if you want more crypto users than in stocks

because they Trust stocks as those has a real product and real investors , not like in crypto that still questionable for them and we can't blame those people.

We are tend to risk here , and same for them in stocks.

We saw the risk involved in crypto currencies this week. Bitcoins dropped easily 10-20% in one single day. Such kind of volatility doesn't happen often in blue chip stocks. The average investors is usually risk averse, he looks for a way to save his wealth with some upside potential. The risk of losing all the money is too much for most investors.

Classic example of someone who doesn’t understand how stocks work or frankly investing at large. Stocks represent a legal share of the ownership of a business. There was quality talent and a vision involved, but sure the monetization mechanism is more obvious. Bitcoin internalizes externalities that, for example banks impose upon us. Does that make sense? If you own crypto, you own a proportion of the total supply of the currency. Everyone's heard of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency and many have also heard of ethereum. Since both are open sourced, you're paying for their security and immutibility solutions as well as additions that could be added to the coin. People with large stakes in a coin can adopt new technologies into the coin and, if they don't, the ecosystem is decentralised enough thst another chain should be able to take on that task and have people/companies move towards it and use it as they would bitcoin (eg the dominance of bitcoin has dropped below 50% now).

It's like saying the grocery store isn't worth anything because all of their produce comes from a farmer. An investment in a coin is an investment in its community and its devs. This is the whole reason why coins pump and why bitcoin can make 500% in a year but some random new idea coin can make 6000% in 3 months (once it's proved itself and its security).

Even though you described a different aspect of valuation than I did, it's also true what you just said. I stand by my words that buying a lottery ticket is different from buying a well established cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is an exit option to an existing financial system. A lottery ticket is not (neccssarily, it could be though Tongue

).

I was arguing in your favour but thought it was a different perspective most people seem to ignore (the same people who think an investment in crypto is gambling).

You could literally turn everything into a gamble if you wanted to. To me gambling is about individual mindset than a specific action alone. If you are a real estate guru and short the market because you think you know what you are doing, you are actually not a gambler to me whereas if the average Joe goes short with leverage because he read the headline in a newspaper that real estate is about to face a decline in value, that might very well be gambling.
It is the same with crypto. I think the generalization "crypto" is kind of wrong. I can invest in solid Bitcoin, Ethereum or Monero or I can put money into bs coin hoping it pumps. Both is putting money into crypto while one might an investment and in the other a gamble.
