Gambling is a place to spend money, although many gamblers consider casinos to be a place to earn money. But in reality, more gamblers lose their money at casinos or gambling sites. So I think all of us here probably have almost the same experience, namely losing a lot of money gambling

I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. In your opinion, what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?

Gambling should be done for fun and that is why you should not use the amount that you can't afford to lose to gambling because it will make you start chasing your losses. It will not only stop there, but you will continue to lose more and finally, you will end up being an addict, which is the worst.

Self-control is what one need, for him to be able to enjoy his gambling activities. Gambling should be seen as a means of entertainment and not to make profit, if you understand it this way, you will not run at loss because you will gamble responsible.

If I loss a huge amount of money based on my greedy nature, I wouldn't chase my loss because it will only lead to more losses. What I will do is to go on a break, and have to understand what is gambling is, so that I can plan on how to gamble responsible and also learn how to control my emotions, before I will come back to gambling.

Not all of us, I can speak for myself. My deposit << my withdrawals and that indicate that I win and I'm ahead of them but you are not wrong about that. Most gamblers that bet, ask them around amount of money they win since they have started playing, you will be shock about their responses, they don't win and the onew that win, it's smaller in amount, even you do the maths, they are only playing with optimism but after the long day, they hardly make something significant.

When you lost money to gambling, there is absolutely nothing you can do about that, move on and if you must change your routine for the day, try and do as much to remove the lost from ringing in your head. You can try the next day but don't play with the mindset of making back the previous losses else you will on lose more. You can invite a friend over to play, it will remove the thought of making back the previous losses you have had in the past.

Strangely, those of us who know that gambling is a place to spend money, actually we keep trying to find money every week to gamble.

What should we do when we lose at gambling? Stop, we lose and that's not a solution in my opinion. I will continue gambling until the money I have spent is returned. Once I get the money back, I will lower my gambling level just for the sake of it.
It is not difficult for me to do it reduce the level of gambling because I have done it before so I can say to myself that I have already done my control regarding gambling.

If anyone has lost a relatively high amount of money to their own standards and can't let it go, then that person is not supposed to continue gambling, let alone chasing previous losses.

I would better to take time off gambling and casinos in general and move onto different activities which could fill the void of such activity.

Sometimes I messes with my mind how so many people can believe they can chase losses and will end up doing okey, even having so many examples of people who tried and failed. One is not supposed to believe one is special in comparison to others in regards of luck and randomness...
One mistake that a lot of gamblers do is that whenever they're losing a relatively big money, they'll want to gamble more in other to win back the already lost money. That approach has made majority of gamblers to end up as gambling addicts in their quest to recover their money.
When one loses a lot of money in gambling, there's very little chances of recovering the money immediately when he gambles more because he would be gambling out desperation to win. So it's advisable to avoid gambling for awhile after losing huge money in gambling.

It does not even have to be a "huge" amount, by the way. Just big enough for the gambler to feel remorse and desperation and starts to chase the money out control. Something relatively similar happened to me, I was rolling dices when sudently lost more than I was comfortable with. I panicked and thought about increasing my wager in order to chase those bucks I lost, however, after a while I realized that in reality my plan will likely lead me to more loses, so I swallow my pride and logged out.

We all will lose money eventually, because we can't be lucky every day. So it's not a matter of if, but when.
And from there we can go to the question: were you prepared to that and how? Because you should be.
It shouldn't come by surprise to anyone that there's a high risk losing money by gambling, so i am assuming you are referring to losing more then planned.

If that happens, i would say that taking a break and long look at the mirror asking yourself why did you do it?
And if you find a way to avoid that, (not losing money, but losing more then you could afford), then you need to ask your self again, why didn't you apply those techniques before, when it happened.
In that way it's easier to find ways to gamble that suits to you. It takes self-discipline for starters and one can learn that.

Gambling is a place where no one can guarantee profit or win. so even if you have experience in this case, you can't always win. In this case too, you will have a big risk. The less gambling the better. And controlling yourself in this regard is one of the biggest tasks

Since once you lose a gamble you cannot guarantee that you will win a second time, so I do not recommend continuing to gamble for the purpose of recovering previous losses. If you want to continue gambling then you have to accept losses and use gambling only for fun. If you want to gamble with them!  Then you can continue gambling otherwise you should stop gambling. Because if you gamble emotionally for money, you will never be successful

Gambling is not a place to make money and gambling is just to have fun with a few dollars just like we go to the bar to have fun by spending a few dollars on drinks and other things.
Losing money in gambling is normal and you should just let it go and forget about it because there is no point in thinking about it. Especially if your ambition is to keep playing just to chase defeat, and that will only make you suffer more.
That seems like a sign of addiction. Because you always accept defeat due to playing without control, and you have to change it or stop gambling before you can change the correct way of playing before returning. Without thinking about losing and also making gambling as entertainment that only costs a few dollars, and sometimes luck is always there.

How do you keep gambling when you have lost money, are you not already heartbroken and angry for losing money, or even if it was money you planned to spend, do you not have a spending limit for that day? Trying to win back money you lose while gambling will only make you lose more money. Before you as a gambler started gambling, you already should know how much you want to play with that day, try not to exceed it because if you keep setting limits and exceeding the limits, that's how reckless gambling begins.

Gambling is not a paradise for profit, but gambling is a place to have fun. When we decide to take part in gambling, we must be able to lose money and accept defeat because that is the price we have to pay to get the pleasure and sensation of gambling.

And what we have to do when we lose, especially lucky losses in gambling, what we have to do is to withdraw and stop the gambling activity for a moment, we do this to prevent ourselves from gambling addiction and big losses in gambling. Indeed, there are some very lucky gamblers who can get a big win after experiencing consecutive losses, but like me personally, I am not that lucky so I choose to stop.

If you have lost a lot of money gambling, you should leave gambling temporarily or permanently. You've seen what happens when you lose a lot of money. You don't want to experience that again.

But people who have lost a lot of money still return to gambling. They still want to recover their losses by continuing to gamble even though it is not a good decision if they do that because their goal is to recover their losses and they want to win.

But some people have lost money but still gamble because they want pleasure from gambling. And there are many other reasons to keep going back to gambling. But if you keep gambling to recover your losses, you should not gamble anymore. You may experience more losses without any chance to recover from those losses.

I think we know the answer.

Accept your lost and move out, but the reality is hard. We're getting triggered due we are losing some money, make our self to deposit at the same day while you are gambling to make your self back on even.

(Accepting) is the hard things for gambler.

Only a newbie will think that gambling is a one way direction game play, if we win then it comes with it's luck and if we didn't, it's another opportunity to prepare better on next attempts, gambling is not a source of business enterprise for gamblers, they are to enjoy themse gambling for fun.
Some do really think that they could outplay casinos, when in fact casinos are design to generate money. How much do slots earn before it gives a $1,000,000 jackpot? a staggering $1,500,000? I mean you're pretty lucky if you only bet a single time. Some people also time their bets, I couldn't blame them because I do it often, and I can say that 70% of my bet when I time it is a win. Casinos are not gambler's source of income, players are their source of income, so just play for your entertainment only.

I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. If you're gambling with the intention of winning the jackpot one day and recover all the loss over time, then that's a wrong prediction and expectation, what we should ask ourselves is that how many gamblers have made it successful in these same pattern.
Don't chase a jackpot, that's one thing I've learn with gambling. You'll run out of gas if you continue to pedal towards the jackpot. Jackpot ain't work like that, if it comes it comes.

The reality is that we lose more money than we make from gambling. And it's laughable should a gambler entangle himself with the belief of having to make money through gambling.  If you want to stand a high ground of making through gambling own a casino or a gambling site.

Take a brief break or go on a vacation to an area you won't have to gamble for a period of time it help you settle down.

You can possibly cover up many losses, it's a goose chase in that you will continue losing more and more.

If you ain't gambling for fun but to make money from gambling and it's not working as planned I'll suggest you go get a job, double your hustle through a multiple streams of income of which gambling can't be one of them. Just a few cents to whom it may concern.

OP, I agree with you because gambling costs a lot of money. Yet many gamblers are associated with casinos or betting sites and choose these sides to earn money. I know that it is possible to earn good amount of money very quickly from these casinos. But those who lose all their money by playing these games should hope to get out of these games and should always keep a cool head. Because gambling should be played by all of us for fun but many people get totally addicted to it after earning more money which is always bad for family and self. So we all have to gamble or bet keeping this downside in mind. So that some money comes and no bad goes. Don't get into a situation where you have to gamble and lose everything.

Just like in life losing in gambling is part of the game. However if you are losing more than you are winning then you should probably stop gambling because you are doing it all wrong. Of course the online casino or casinos in general most always win because that is how they make their money if they are always losing then they will be out of business in no time. My suggestions to you or any other other gambler is this. TAKE A BREAK FROM GAMBLING and fix other aspects of your life. As one of my mentors would say, get your act together.

Stopping gambling is up to you although some people may advise you to do so. If you lose from gambling, then you should already know that it is a consequence of gambling itself. That's normal because losing is part of the game, but what you need to do at that time is to close the session and take a break instead of continuing gambling on the same day.

If you're not gambling just to win, then losing shouldn't be a problem. Come back tomorrow and have fun for another game instead of going on a revenge mission and winning bets to cover your losses yesterday.

First of all, gambling is meant for entertainment and at the same time you can also get lucky and win some cash while playing it so the fact that you asked if you should “stop and work normally” means that you have in some ways made gambling some sort of a means of income for you which is not okay to do.

Another thing is that, before you start gambling make sure you have a budget and alway, I mean always make sure you use the amount that you can afford to lose for your gambling activities. If you decide to spend unwisely on your gambling account you’ll also be the one that will regret it later on so make sure you use what you can afford to lose, to avoid you chasing your losses afterward.

If you already plan how much you are willing to risk, the loss will not be too painful. People enter into depression simply because of not decided how much they are willing to loose before placing the bet.

The odds in every gambling is against the player, the earlier we realise this, the better. Knowing this, one should plan his gambling in such a way as to accommodate losses that are inevitable.
