I think there are faucets, giveaways, bonuses, services, etc to earn bitcoin beside sig campaign. So if I dont get paid from my sig camp manager, its okay. I will learn some skill like programming and graphic designing then to offer my service. Get out from bitcoin because dont get paid in sig camp is not a smart way. Anyway there are many users here who not using any sig campaign, and they still care about bitcoin.

Signature payments are just an added bonus to posting on a subject I'm interested in. I didn't have a signature for ages and then I though what the hell, everyone else has so I might as well too Tongue.

If I'm very active some weeks it pays more than I'd earn mining at home with a couple of S5's. And that's without the expense of buying the miners and psu's, the cost of electricity (extortionate here in the UK), the hassle keeping check on them, the noise and the heat (because its summer).

It's a 100% no brainer for me Smiley.

Dust!!!
I don't think it is dust.
For me it is good source of income(part time).
And they pay per post and to so much users and if they increase payout then their profit will be less and maybe they will close down.

Ok, Signature Campaigners, this one is for you - how much is the fact that you can get paid in bitcoin for posting on this forum the biggest factor that keeps you involved in bitcoin?

"Free" money, right? (almost...we do give up our time.) I can earn some bitcoin without having to risk my own money, right? What have I got to lose?

How many of you have thought these sentiments and can honestly admit that if this opportunity for earning didn't exist you would not care about bitcoin?

Remember, the poll is anonymous...

Of course. I learned alot anything about bitcoin from this forum so it's no way I won't care for bitcoin just because I didnt get paid for my signature. I have been in the other forum especially in our local forum for five years and there is no signature campaign service there so it's not different if in this forum, campaigns are not exist.

Just take the opportunity of having bitcoin for doing signature campaign.

Of course. I'm doing signature campaigns for 2 weeks now. So my income from that isn't really high. Either way it is nice to have the possibility to earn some money while being online here in the forum.

I think signatures campaign are not 100% for BTC promote, thats for business to promote in the BTC community.

I dont think someone pay to promote BITCOIN.

everyone might say that they still care, but they really care for bitcoin? there is no way to know about it, and without signature the majority would simply go to find something else profitable, like farming account or altcoin mining, they would remain here anyway

as a myself i care about it the right amount, without signature i would think about something else for earning bitcoin, like someone else said, i would care less about the forum perhaps

Its not about the payment its about being active and knowing any new development from bitcoin.

Exactly, even if we didn't get paid for our signature we would still care about bitcoins, as there are many other alternatives to earn bitcoins but being on forum, adds value to our knowledge, we can learn new things everyday related to bitcoins and other cryptos, So I would say that it is an learning experience for me rather than source of income, and if I hold a good knowledge of bitcoins then I can earn money using different ways.

No, I wouldn't bother wading through this sea of retardation if I wasn't being paid per word.

I would not call 0.05-0.1 BTC a week dust anymore Wink That can become significant over time really fast, especially compared to faucets and stuff.

I was actually surprised at how much they paid. A few years ago I didn't remember it being that high. Although BTC was hitting 1k+ AND I didn't have a seasoned account. Smiley

Terminated.
Which forum would be more appropriate?

And everyone posts for a few months before joining a signature campaign, it takes that long to rank up and to become aware that the opportunity even exists!

I'm glad you've had a positive contribution. Thanks for your vote.
Well I would say, that since it discusses matters related to the forum either meta, or off-topic. This isn't really a Bitcoin discussion, but rather a discussion about the members of this forum.
Actually, I do not remember back then being campaigns for newbies (maybe I'm wrong). These days people join campaigns with their very first post on this forum (i.e. only to earn money).

Yes, signature campaigns are far from being the only way to get BTC or earn money from BTC.

But can't say I would be as active as now

Yes of course, it has nothing to do with my love for Bitcoin. I almost never get a payout, probably because I like to reply only when I feel like it not to make a quota.

well even if there is no signature campaign i still care about bitcoin, there are other ways or opportunities to earn bitcoins here aside from the signature campaign.

You're the second post in this thread, you don't need to quote me (the OP) in your response. It's implied.

I think may have asked the wrong question. Perhaps a better question would be how many of you would care about BitcoinTalk Forum without paid signatures?

Thanks for the honest replies already!

Yes, I agree. The Poll results may confuse some people. The majority of the posts seem to indicate that people care about Bitcoin and they care about the signature campaign too. If you asked the question in regards to the forum, you might have had a whole different result in the poll.

People enjoy money and they enjoy Bitcoin, but they do not necessarily worry about what platform provides this service. It just has to be fast and clean and available.

ofcource I would still care about bitcoin if I wasn't in a signature campaign. that is exactly why I chose this signature campaign that has minimum of 0 posts so I am not forced to do any more posts that I like.
