I respect other people's belief but I think it's really ridiculous to kill a man just because he is selling a cow? also why don't just banned the cow in specific place(india) where hindus people is having a war.

Perhaps they should behave like the Muslims of Pakistan, who abduct and rape Hindu/Christian women whenever they get a chance. Being a Muslim in India is much better than being a Hindu either in Pakistan or Bangladesh.

I guess you don't know anything about India. Cow vigilantism and beef ban are one of those topics which can happen only India.
And by the way just Google Indian reservation system, you'll come to know how politicians​ used religion and caste as a vote bank in India.

There isn't any law like that, because they call their country a secular state, and a secular state is totally neutral in religions matters and doesn't support any religion. The extremist hindus are doing such inhuman activities there, many of them are well educated and knows the rights of others.

Maybe their government should have a law on who to beat or punished.  If he is not Hindu then that person can eat beef or carry a beef if he wants.  But if he is Hindu and do these maybe he must put into interrogation whether or not he bought it or just carry it.  We cannot criticize them because they are like that, it has been there customs and part of their culture.  Maybe Indians who are Hindu should abide their law.

It is very sad that a person is beaten and sometimes killed just because he is eating beef or carrying beef in the so called secular state "INDIA".
I respect the religious beliefs of Hindus but one should impose there religion on others.

Pretty absurd by today's standards but i think there still are some communities around the world who still havr these kinds of beliefs and it sometimes would be fatal if you don't respect their traditions. Though this might be hatd for us to understand, i think there's nithing wrong with just letting these people amd their beliefs be. If you happen to wander in their territories, be nice to the cows

In every religion out there, in all the sacred books it is clearly written that God created the animals to be in service for the humans who are the leaders in this earth. What this hindus do, killing someone just for eating beef or cow meat is totally bullshit. Even in a very strict religion like Islam, if someone eats pork which is forbidden to do, they don't kill him or her but just give them a small punishment. Ignorance is not a bliss and I am shocked how in the world Indians are called good engineers or good software developers after doing this kind of bullshit.

Every life is precious, but human form is the best only because we can realize God, if not, we are juast like animals, satisfying our senses...


And why of all animals, cows?  Because cow is on top of the animal kingdom, but mostly because God's favourite creatures/animals are cows, you can live your whole life with only one cow and one bull, and you're set up for life...

Humans are designed to function by eating animals etc.
Why is because we REQUIRE vast large amounts of energy for our brains and then body to function.
It's about the energy consumption.
If we were not eating meat we wouldn't even be here.. it's evolution.
Like a big fish eating a smaller one and so on..

But yeah it's about a serving of energy we need for consumption to function.
Things were not always like they are today with increased food supplies.
Famine was common in old times too.
Even with eating meat !

It's simply not possible for humans to function and thrive by eating "wild edibles"
Wandering around eating grass isn't going to do it guys.
We are not cows with two stomachs and no obligation but to sit in a pasture eating all day.

But i am eating Pepperoni pizza right now.
Point being is i am not a fan of steaks but beef does taste good.
I eat little meat ..on purpose.
I don't like the idea of having to kill animals to eat.
The only thing i can do though is limit my consumption of meat then.
Or better yet in our modern life i simply consume by products that do not require killing.
I am in fact right now drinking a glass of milk and i like the idea that it didn't have to die for me to get it.

But religious wacko's like that are a lot like Muslim extremists.
Killing cows is illegal in some states but murder is illegal in ALL OF THEM !

Well.. the religious people need to respect the laws of the land.

Vegans need to clue in and realize that we exist because of our alternative energy consumption system.
We are all here right now because evolution made our biology capable of taking the stored energy stored in animals and allowing us to consume it as ready made packages of energy.
Which we NEED a lot of in order to continue living.

Hindus can refrain from killing cows and ban cow-slaughter in areas where they are a majority (I am a Hindu myself). But it is not practical to impose our views on others, especially those who follow a different religion.

judging each other will never stop cause we think that we 're right, religion / country even ethnic has their own laws, if we have no business or just wanna be saved, just stay away and follow the laws where you are. respect   

until there will be slotherhouses there will be no peace on world, more killing = less peace

Religious riots are very common in India, especially between the majority Hindus and the minority Muslims. Most of the times, beef is a provocation. The Muslims sometimes try to provoke the Hindus by throwing beef over the Hindu temples and other places of worship. This in turn, guarantees a very violent retaliation by the Hindus (in regions where they form the majority).

We cannot judge them since their government, their customs or culture prohibits killing cow because cow for them are sacred animals.  But their government should be accurate or fair on these issue.  It is not right to punished a person without accurate evidence.  There should be trial for those cases so as not to kill innocent. 

I really do not think that these sort of events are created by the media,i have seen reports that poor people have being killed for having possession of meat and that too they killed because they have a doubt that he is having possession of beef,which is really crazy,these sort of hooligans must be put to jail and the current government is a farce .

I accept that everyone must obey to law in the country but when did this law come.. After Modi became prime minister of india just because he is a hindu its not fare to bring the law against beef. India is a democratic country and every human being has there freedom to eat and drink what they wish.. No one can stop this.

Yes I heard of this story about the worshipping of cows and cows are sacred animals.  They can roam the cities and even the churches.  They have high respect with these animals.  We cannot argue with their beliefs, ideals, religion, culture or customs, it's been there before we are born.  But it would be heart breaking if you accidentally killed a cow and you will be killed because of it.
