That is absurd. Killing humans cause of cow? I wonder why some humans will drop themselves so low to the point of worshipping a lower animal and even killing for it. Everyone with their own belief though, but they shouldn't attack people just because they ain't in the same belief circus. Nevertheless, does this happen in all parts of India or just some parts? Beef is not even one of the best meat to eat on my list anyway, they can keep their beef to themselves when I visit.
No matter how absurd it all seemed, but this reality found the modern world. I, too, are shocked by what can happen to a person, Only for the fact that he is eating beef. I have never heard such senility before. Such a feeling that there are a number of even medieval and laws.

all countries have different laws and as a human being we need to respect each others, don't need to judge each others, if you don't live in india you don't need to worry when you eat beef, but when you live there and you are not hindhunist, you need to respect in order not to be killed.

Every religion has its taboos. Similarly, every culture has its own customs and traditions. If you go to an Arab country such as Saudi Arabia or Qatar, you will get jailed if you ask for bacon in a restaurant. Let the Indians practice their customs in their own country. At least they are not trying to impose a beef ban in the United States or the European Union.

We had this topic way back when I was still in high school. Our instructor told us that even a cow's sh* is holy and they even prayed in front of it which is so gross for some people but for them it is holy.

Hindus believe cow as their sacred animal. Most of them dont eat it and they think killing cow as a sin.But what the problem is,in india, some hindus call themselves as cowrakshaks, meaning saviors of cow and they start attacking and even killing other people if found eating beef or carrying beef with them.Either you dont kill cow, otherwise you will be killed. Its their slogan.
That's a totally deceiving belief, due to that cow is one of the animals created by God.
Now go back to the main topic, here in my country there are some provinces here that once you kill a cow
You will be imprison in jail base to their laws.

I heard about hindian`s belief in cow`s sacred, but never heard about cowrankshaks. You know, world is big place, people going crazy about what they consider sacred. Thank you for this information, i will not eat beef in India).

No need to worry. Buffalo meat is not banned in India. Only the beef, which is sourced from cows is banned. But then, if you go to the conservative states such as Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, it may be advisable to stay away from all types of beef.
The fact is that it is better not to try fate in India to look for conservative and quiet areas. In general, do not even think about beef in India and then it will be possible to be 100% sure that it will survive.

You are just over-hyping the whole issue. I am living in a state where beef is readily available and openly sold in the streets (although as a religious Hindu I refrain from consuming it). Beef is not a banned item in 80% of the Indian states.
If you go to travel to India, you need to know exactly where I can go to the states and eat beef, otherwise you can really stay without a head. Who knows who you will be talking to and who will be friends next door. Although I also think that killing or because someone is eating beef is savagery.

Somehow everything in the world is strange. Some can kill for the fact that someone ate a cow and it happens This is all because the cow for them is a deity. And others will be killed for eating a pig and doing it because the pig for them is an unclean animal. Why no one can accept the fact that all people are different and their Faith and their traditions are also very different.

Well as much as it is odd to us, from other parts of world, maybe some our customs are odd to them. We can not judge or tell it is wrong or right, it is their culture and people and they should decide what to do, and how to do it. And as far as tourists are concerned, and fear if they will be killed, one advice... if  you go to India do not eat any cow meat Cheesy . I think we can all limit our food for few days Cheesy .

For me this is absolutely insane. Im so sorry for my term but its like putting human level as a cow is so unjust. Its like your treating others as a cow and treating cow as a human being. Im not sure what behind this but I just want to share the real thing here. Most people might think that it is wrong given the fact that they are believing in something but if its against the human race you need to think it a thousand times. Every person has a goal and dreams that they want to achieve and buy simple dealing with this everything will end up to nothing. World government should consider this because human race is invloved. Its so pity seeing those people killing the people for this reason. As long as we are breathing there are lots of reason why to live and not only loving a cow. And besides what with the cow, why it became sacred?

None of this would happen if people stopped believing in everything they hear or read, and actually start thinking for themselves. Also, I wish they'd pay more attention to facts rather than fiction.

Human beings ought to know that they are the offspring of God the creators of heaven and earth. Why is this great inhuman of men to his fellow men created in the image of God? Cow was among the animals made for human consumption any attempt to see it otherwise is contradicting nature especially if it got to the extent of killing human for it.

Muslims are forbidden to eat pork, but some eat it. Not once saw it. Especially in the army, in College.. One friend said ...Allah is one and we are many, it's hard to follow -- Took in the morning a dish of pork and say... this beef..

Hah! Weird that Hinduism shares a common trait with Islam on this. The difference being that Islam forbids people from eating pork, because pigs are unclean or something.

Being a Hindu, I have to disagree with you on this. Pork is forbidden in Islam, because they regard pig as unclean. The Muslims hate pig. On the other hand, the Hindus revere cow as a holy animal. That is why the refrain from killing it. Both these aspects are diagonally opposite to each other.
