Well it all depends on the category of token I'm holding. There are tokens we just want to hold for over 8 months or over a year... Such tokens are can be said to be locked tokens and we don't want to touch them atleast not anytime sub. But if its one of the short term HODL, I'll definitely sell off.

See the situation is ambiguous, logically, you need to sell the token gave a good profit, but on the other hand it can only be the beginning of growth and you can lose the rest of the profits, but you will all be positive, but decide
in any case, this situation looks fantastic, because a person who watches over the crypto-currency market simultaneously not only prepare himself for different situations, but also the solution of certain problems or readiness for action.

Of course you sell! Anyone that hodls on a coin that has pumped 50% or more is straight up stupid.
People say, "you can't predict the price" but you can predict market fluctuations.
Any asset, and I mean ANY asset, even crypto, can not sustain growth like that.

A 50% increase or more in value will not last forever, it is basically guaranteed that you will make money off of this.
just sell it, and the price will crash, and buy up some more.
It is the most basic and easiest way to increase the value of your portfolio.
But ironically, it seems to be the one that people struggle with the most.

I think a part of it has to do with people being too greedy.
They think it can go more so they wait.
Just sell it.  then use the money you earned to buy more when its cheaper.
Like magic you jsut increased the value of your portfolio.

If that happen to me, I would to sell it partially. And then get out from market or maybe looking for other coin to entry when its showing the chance to get profit.
40% is very high profit, I think its enough and then secure that profit or you can withdraw.

If a coin increase from 40%-200% in value overnight, mehr I will go to exchange directly and sell then wait for another bear market to aqcquire more coin. My own strategy of dealing with market.

If my currency keeps rising 40% overnight. I will immediately sell it and buy it again. If it will increase again for 10%, I will resell it. I am a trader with a target price and a loss price. I do not invest long term

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

It's better to find out first why that coin increased to 40% - 200% in just 1 night, if something really big and good happened, it's better to hold it more because maybe the price can increase more but if it's just because of a gossip, just sell it and buyback again when the price go down. The thing is find the information first.

The best solution is to sell this coin. The large profit is not worth to maintain the same token, it is better to sell and make another investment. I don't like active trading, buy the coin and sell it when a profit is fine with me.

For myself, I do not think that now is the time to sell as many holders have lost a lot of money in this market. Now is the time to hold no matter what. Sell when your investment has given you profit

I'd be happy to sell it all at once. Such chances rarely fall out as such a large growth. I don't think that's gonna happen.

Of course, you need to sell such coins at least because such growth can again happen very soon. It seems to me that this rarely happens

Look what that coin is. Most likely I will sell it, as such sharp jumps are not just and the coin can also quickly fall in price.

I would fix profit. But main problem is that with such attitude it is impossible to gain 10x, so I have to develop my strategy to something new than fixing fast profit.

If I were you would sell them when they were priced, and buy them when they were discounted, very simple. I believe you will succeed. Some people have the idea that hold is an idea.

I continue to keep my coins until better times. Now I do not see any sense in selling them and I believe that the cryptocurrency market will grow, so I am waiting for better times.

Everyone that invest have only one aim and the aim is to make profit from what he or she invested in. So for my coins to increase for that amount overnight what I will do the following morning is to rush into exchange and sell my coins.

In such a situation, I would sell part of the coins (20 to 50 percent). In the current market, the value of the coin is likely to fall again. And then it will be possible to re-purchase at a cheaper price, leaving part of the profit.
