I'll sell some coins but not all. I'll exchange some of the coins for dollars. I'll keep most of the coins for a happy future)

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?
For me the answer is simple. I will sell half and hodl after for the future.

If my coin increased by this percentage overnight, what I will do s to sell some of it and hold the rest. I would even buy the coin when it is cheaper as long as it is a potential one. I would not like to be greedy and later regret why I did not make the best use of the opportunity when it came for me to make more profit.

It depends on whether the coin was growing or falling. If it first fell to -200%, and then it grew by even 200%, I will not do anything. But if it jumped, jumped and jumped, watch it for a bit and sell it. Then all the same will fall - I will buy again.

I would probably sell what I had, in order to then buy again at a cheaper price, it seems to me that this would be correct, because if you understand what the stock exchange is and how it works, you need not lose the opportunity try to trade on it, I think this is a good opportunity.

Yes, of course, I will immediately sell it as soon as possible if all the coins I have increased tens of times. I do not want to waste your opportunities and profits in front of me. If I hold that I fear the price will drop dramatically again and surely we will wait longer to sell it.

If one my coins increase by at least 40%, then I would immediately dump a small part of my holdings (10% to 40%, depending on the future potential of the coin), and keep the remaining for medium-term holding. From my past experience, I have seen that 80% of the spikes are a result of pump-and-dump. If you don't sell at the right time, then you may end up with a loss.

I think it's good you sell part only. Then the rest of the coins you hodl, because chances are it will still go up even higher. When later the price drop coins, then the result of sell above you can use to buy the coins if you want.

I would sell. For me, x2 is the maximum profit I expect from the market. Even if then it will be X10, I'm not too upset since I had already cut a piece of cake.

If it hitted 200% over night I would take some profits. At least 25%. If you really believe in the future of this coin then you should just hold it. If you expect that the value will rise, do not sell it. But it is always good to take some profits. Some dips starting and taking longer than expected.
Only the dumb person will always try to hold their token and not try to take the opportunity to doubled their amounts. 200% is obviously a pump and it can't be considered as a normal growth with any fundamental aspect. It will go down asap and sell some our portfolios to doubled it when it reached the bottom is the best thing ever.

Maybe I would sell your initial investment and let the rest ride with a trailing stop. Just thinking....

Sell, immediately, because 200% is not healthy growth and  you can always wait for an unhealthy fall if this happens  Grin

No matter how good the fundamentals of the coin are, if a coin goes more than 100% within 24 hours I absolutely sell them. A classic case of this has been Storm coin, it has already dipped about 50% from its ath after it went crazy just a couple of days ago.

if my coin increased 200%, it means my coin has doubled. i will half of my coin if that happened.
for the rest of 50%, i will hold it until it doubled again in the future, then i sell half again. That is my strategy.

It is actually a rare case that price will pump up to 200% overnight but let say for example it happen I will sell for sure. When price pumps rapidly it will follows with dump, selling your coin at peak point is better since you already get the sure profit. If you really believed on that specific coin in long run then buy again when its price dump. In this case you can multiply your coin and wait again on the next pump of your coin.

I will sell for sure half and hold the rest..+200% in one night is a HUGE gain! if the coin still go up you have the 50% in coin .. if coin goes down you can re-buy the rest 50%...

I think this is the best strategy. If in a short time the asset has brought more than 200%, then it may be meaningful to fix a part of the profit. For the rest of the asset wait for x10. Then you can once again fix a part of the profit.

...well if some coin will go 200% overnight be sure that all major exchanges will have error 404 or maintenance page.
So I really REALLY like to know where you will sell such coins.
Maybe you can visit your local bank and ask them... and they will tell you can put it in your ass.   Tongue

If that happens (impossible to happen) I will immediately sell my coins, why? Because that is a rare happening in the market and I would like to take this chance to sell my coins on a high value, we never know what will happen next so better to grab every opportunity.

Maybe I will sell immediately if the capital are big. Don't be greedy, just sell when you think that the profit is enough for you. Maybe people will think  same like me so they will sell their coin too and the price will drop immediately.
