Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?
I would definitely cash out! Well, just a portion though. Coz price growth usually fall after a huge hike. So I would take advantage of that profit by cashing out majority of my tokens.

I would sell x% (x depending on the market evolution so far) to save my gain, and hold the rest Wink.

Then depending on the evolution of the coin sell x% again, or more, etc.

If it increased 200% overnight, I'm certainly going to sell and rebuy cheaper Smiley But if it just goes up 40%, who cares? It might be back down again in 12 hours, you never know.

If the coin is up by 200% then I most likely will sell it. By doing so I will return my investments and earn a good deal. Hold is not for me.

its depend on the coins if the coins not much named or not famous or solid in the market in that case i sold it without wait more and on the other side if coins market handsome i wait and hold coins and see how much rewarded without any panic because its digital market and a risky game so all these things must be kept in mind dont be panic and also dont be greedy.

I would partially trade it for sure . I think I'd sell 50% of it immediately and then will place to sell the rest for a higher price , or will keep a part if coin have a good further perspectives in my opinion . Keep in mind that +50-200% growth is usually a temporary pump and coins dropping down significantly after it .

Depends on which coin it'd be. If Bitcoin, hold no question. If Monero, Waves or Litecoin, which I hold, nothing. If it's coins I'm keeping to flip, like Verge (heh heh) I always sell half at 100%, keep the other half for speculating. Any Bitcoin I recoup from initial alt buys is a win for me.

In fact, most of my stupidcoin holdings already have half in sell orders at 100% increase. That way I sleep better at night without checking every few hours what's going on.

I would sell, because such a strong growth for a few hours is more like the fact that the coin is pumped, and then usually the price goes down.

investing and holding for the long term is a plan, that's what I do. but if in a short time has given a big profit, I will sell it. then wait for the price back dump. because in essence is we get a profit from investment and trade. so don't wait for a long time, if in a short time has given a big profit.

I hope so, but now the market is not as good as you think. Every day is a red market. People feel very scared. If you coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night, I believe there will be many people go to the bar for a drink and I will do so, LOL. Grin

if my coin had risen by 50% - I would have waited for more time, doing nothing and watching. More than 100% would sell 30% of the total amount in stock, if 200% would sell 70% of the balance on the account, the other coins would sell if their value exceeded 210% of the purchase price of these coins.

I will sell most of the coins I have for now. After such hikes the customs of the price will always be adjusted again later, it will be possible to buy this coin again when the price starts to fall but at the same time we have got huge profits.

I think that it's more than a good sign that it's time to sell it. I would not risk continuing holding it long with such market.

I recommend that you closely monitor what is happening in the crypto-currency world. If your currency does not have a future, it's best to sell it.

When I take coins into my portfolio, I usually try to immediately determine the price at which I will sell this coin. And if the rate will grow so much and reach the desired level, I would have sold just half and watched the further movement of the course.

When it comes to a daytrading to me and a massive value up in a night of course i will sell my coins. Since im not a long term investor, i mean why would we hold if we are looking for a daily profit? 100% profit in just one night is a massive success and income for daytrading activities right?

It depends on whether you have your own plans. If your plan meets 40% profit, then when your profit reaches 200%, it has gone far beyond your imagination. These coins must be sold.Don't try to get more profits because of greed this time.

I trade every day and it's a tough profit when it breaks at 40%, let alone up to 200%.

take his example if you buy a SYS coin with 1 Bitcoin in Bittrex at this time and because there is Airdrop tomorrow the SYS coin is up 200%, then your profit is 2 Bitcoin.

imagine getting 2 Bitcoin in 1 day is very satisfying once.
