I think that selling coins now is not profitable cause price can increase at any day but if not we can just wait for somethig good and than start selling.

You wont sell any coin it means you will hold alt coins as well which is not at all useful. Because many will be have no value in some time afters its launch.
True, perhaps he should specify in the title that he is speaking only of BTC.

yeah im not going to sell it also because in my opinion the price of the bitcoin is going to grow a lot in the future

That's what I'm doing right now. I'm not selling my bitcoins because I know in the future or before the end of the year it happens. Or if not it is going to happen for the year 2017.
And as well as the consecutive years.
Well we should not sell our coins because this can be a negative approach in bitcoin too. Selling your coins will give bitcoin a decrease on it's demand.
i think that you are right, if we not sell our bitcoins we allow the price to grow more and if we will be selling our coins then the price might drop a little bit i think

You will not sell any coin Huh

I doubt that because in the end we always need to convert or sell our bitcoins just to take our profits and also get the money. Bitcoin is limited as of now and it not just like dollar that you can use anywhere to buy some stuff. If you are planning to wait for bitcoin to reach to the point that it doesn't need to convert in fiat, i'm sure it will take a lot of time.
If he is not going to sell any coins, then there'd be no point in trying to get all your coins at all since you are never really going to enjoy them, even just for a little bit. I know for a fact that seeing how much coins you have makes you feel 'wealthy' but not using it is just worthless.

Bitcoin's price is always increasing back after drop, and many people know about it. So better not to panic when something goes wrong cause bitcoin will recovery.
yeah that's what happened in bitcoin. bitcoin prices are always ups and downs so do not be afraid if the price drops. because surely bitcoin prices will rise again so what you need is patience because it is not always the price rises quickly as possible will take a long process

For me, I really believe that the future of bitcoins is big, when the price will fall back or their will be a panic selling I have no choice but to buy more as I believe we are in the early phase so we have more rooms to grow.
I think we are all believers here that is why we are here and our community is growing, it takes time to realize the big thing to happen so it is better not to sell our coins when the price does not matured yet.

Of course that's true we are all believers of bitcoin because we don't be here if you don't believe.
And I really believe that the price is going to increase in the future.
That's why as of now I'm just using small portion of my bitcoin if needed and holding majority of it.

I'm also not gonna sell any bitcoins because its simply just not smart to sell any bitcoins right now with the halving.
Its coming so close now and it will be not smart to sell them right now, its for a part not worth it and you will lose profit also.
It's not a question of being 'smart' or not.
I'd sell my coins if I need them for emergency purposes but as of right now, I would not want to sell my coins either since there is indeed the halving and an expected increase in price.

Pretty much I agree, you sell something if you need something. And bitcoin is no excuse.  If you have something that need an urgent money, wether you like it or not you will be selling your Bitcoin even at the lower price.  In a normal operation, I would gladly sell my Bitcoin if it can produce more Bitcon for me.

I think not a problem to sell now because halving already occurred and the price does not go up?
I think halving not give any effect on the price of bitcoin

It's your choice but it is always good to sell your bitcoins when you already achieve your price goal, me as investor who put a little investment, I would be very glad to sell my bitcoins when I see a price of $800 after the halving but surely a portion of it only.

My price goal is $100,000 for each of my bitcoins. So I may have to wait for another 20 to 40 years.

Well that is possible we don't know what is going to happen with the price of bitcoin. And I hope that bitcoins price is going to reach that price also.
Even I am holding only one bitcoin I am able to earn money for it.
Yeah,i have some offline wallet where i hold about 0,3 btc for a really long term,i hope
btc wont die and it's price will go until let's say 1000$ then i will sell them probably.
I can't wait for halving haha

i also keep a certain amount in my cold wallet that i probably will not sell in the coming 5 to 10 years. by that time i hopefully will be rewarded greatly for my trust and patience. at this point the halving will not bring any real surprise. the price will probably go down directly after the block halving is completed.
This is a good think,i did the same.
I have about 0,3 on offline wallet and i hold it to get profit at long term like 10 years, then i will convert it into fiat i guess.
And now im doing daily trading.

That's a good thing that you are holding 0.3 btc on your offline wallet then for sure in the end when the price is going to increase you are going to benefit from it and it is better if you are going to add some.
