HODL it for 10 years and you'll be very rich!

Not all have same patience of holding it for next 10 years, majority of users will sell  their coins when they see the 4 digit price to secure their profits.

I know it's not the rule for all , but some of us sell when we see tipping points in order to aquire more coins (or atleast thats what we hope to do).
It doesnt matter in the end, because every sold coin is also bought one looking from the other side. In the end , the thing that will allow price to rise
are always going to be halvings at the most, because when you eliminate newly generated coins, nothing is stopping hodlers to define the price however they want.

I am not gonna sell my bitcoins too, cause price nowdays is slowly risig up and maybe later it's gonna reach $700. It will be enough for me personaly to sell.

$700 is not difficult to achieve now, and  may be we will see that price in next few weeks, and $700 is a good price to sell bitcoins and secure some descent profits.

It is better not to sell at $700. The $800 price could be reached in just a few months. So please be patient.

anybody who have made an investment in bitcoin would want to see some returns so just holding and not selling forever is not a good option either so if you think $700 satisfies you then sell and if you think price will go higher to $800 then wait.
and don't forget that you don't have to send everything at a price like $700 you can sell something and take the profit and enjoy it and hold the rest.

So the root problem should be is can you afford to hold bitcoin then selling it lol.

If thats the case most people arent able to hold since they are in a financial hurdle - average american has about $30k in debt and if youre in college thats another animal as well added.

It all depends on the situation you have bought the bitcoins or any other altcoin you may have. If you have bought bitcoin when it was about 300 dollars , I think you can sell all your coins and make some nice profit. I would wait more before I rush into selling the coins, bitcoin is in its infancy stage only 7 years old. For sure it has much more potential than the actual price.

The price of the bitcoin is still quite low compared to its potential. So I will keep most of my coins and use some.

Yes it totally depends on your entry price if current price is allowing you to secure profits then you should sell it and if you are looking for higher profits then better to hold it for some more time.

There is actually no exact price here before you sell your bitcoins, it should be on your own preference base on your plan. As an investor we should have an concrete plan detailing when and why we sell.

We all have our method but it is important that when we, sell we sell it for profit.

yeah we still can hold it until it reaches $700 at least which is a realistic goal as well as reachable one (since btc crossed 700 recently). But we don't know when halving is going to occur so if it happens before reaching $700 again , it might be a good idea just to sell the cash unless you want to hold it for another six months or so.

You will not sell any coin Huh

I doubt that because in the end we always need to convert or sell our bitcoins just to take our profits and also get the money. Bitcoin is limited as of now and it not just like dollar that you can use anywhere to buy some stuff. If you are planning to wait for bitcoin to reach to the point that it doesn't need to convert in fiat, i'm sure it will take a lot of time.
If he is not going to sell any coins, then there'd be no point in trying to get all your coins at all since you are never really going to enjoy them, even just for a little bit. I know for a fact that seeing how much coins you have makes you feel 'wealthy' but not using it is just worthless.
He is not saying that he will not use his coins but he is saying that he will not convert his coins to fiat, so with that he can enjoy the benefits of bitcoin and he can use bitcoin for his uses and expenditures etc.
I really don't know where people are using their bitcoins physically as everyone is complaining that they don't find any offline stores where they can spend their coins directly.

I use the bitcoin online only. There is not many offline shops and I never tried to use the bitcoin offline.

Spending online is also limited for me, as I use it only for mobile top ups rest I am saving it for future as we will see some good time in future which will give us more benefits.

With the improve community, I am pretty sure company's accepting bitcoins will be profitable due to the fact that they can transact fast and the users will be happy to use bitcoins to save from low cost online transactions.

In terms of transactions that would be nice since no doubt that bitcoin transaction is really different from the usual transaction that buyers and merchants have been used to but companies are here for profit.

For companies that dealing most of their product in fiat this will really go in a hard brainstorming if they will add bitcoin as one of their payment method.

And they are not selling because they want to make more profit and waiting for the time that the price of bitcoin is high.. this is i think they want to do with their bitcoin instead of enjoyment using bitcoin..

I'd say that's a really good choice,I myself am focused much more on byuing and holding than selling at the moment.

Holding for next couple of months will be really good, as that will be the time where we will have exact feeling of halving effect, so sell at that point would be the best decision to make.
