it is no longer imagination... Already China has done it and slowly other countries will follow just reduce the cost of printing currencies and taking much more steps to prevent the counterfeits. Now the data and the mobile cost has become so affordable that almost all the fintech startups are making the mobile app before they develop their websites. There are companies which only facilitate the online payment only.. so yeah "cashless society" is a closer to reality than imagiantion.

Usually, cashless societies are the progressive countries, their government always looking for the improvements of economics. They care their people and always updating the new technologies invention.
I think that's a good idea because its quite different... We will change how we live our life well today if it happened... But although cryptocurrency is very important and has a huge uses. Imagining that kind of situation is really a wonderful thought due to we won't have a lot of time wasting just to pay our bills and fall in line and wait for about an hours just to have something done. We won't be worried if we left our wallets because we can pay online and by using our phones. But having a single digital money like bitcoin and cashless society also brings a negative impacts to us. Imagine the less fortunate people that until now the momey that they are gathering is enough for the daily food, they cannot afford having gadgets and internet connection to be included to this forum, I hope this will not happened.
This can be achieved in the future. In fact, in a few countries in East Asia you can do it now with only one cell phone, and I think the next step we have to do is to let the bitcoin be more connected to the mobile payment.

Just the only thing that I hope will happen in the future is that the internet connection will cover the entire planet and become free which likely can't happen unless we found a robust and effective way to replace those undersea fibre optic cable.

If you've heard about "Nas Daily" I have been following his page for a while now. He featured a country that doesn't use cash or the paper money. The pay through phone and digital way. From the looks of it, it's easier because less hassle and you don't have to cary thick stash around. All you have to do is bring your phone and you can shop wherever you want.
Imagining a cashless society in future will be a good idea everything to be paid by phone and the cash been seamless. If Bitcoin is accepted by all countries like Japan we can imagine a cashless society. We can purchase goods or services by digital currency and there is no need to worry if we forget to carry our wallet, money can be transacted by the help of our mobile and no need to worry about robbery also. I've always imagined that thing because insee that in some scie fi movies and that really a convenient thing imagine traveling all around the world without bringing any wallets in you any credit cards or sometjing that is related to it. I believe that everything goes well with this. Everyone will pay with a crypto currency using their phone. Why print money at all? In my opinion this is out of date.
It has a very high chance that this could happen. Reason is because its easy and simple. It might be hard for those who dont know how to use smartphones but with the modern world, I guess all people will know how to use one. It might happen but I guess not all country will agree with it.
