two side effects sometimes
good sometimes bad, when you drink
a red wine they say its good for your heart
but when you drink a hard drink or
high dosage of alcohol it will cause a hang over
to you or else it cant cause a disease.

I genuinely think there is many good things about alcohol, helps to relax, helps to be social and can generally make a memorable evening occur. But, for me at least, I find it very hard to know when to stop drinking and things, more than not, go very downhill. So in recent times I've been completely sober alcohol wise, its been great for my money and overall happiness I think. Makes weekends a bit boring since all my friends drink. Although until I learn some better self control alcohol is out of the question for me.

Alcohol might be good or bad. Scientifically it has been said that it has coagulative properties, cardiovascular, same in excess, BP. Forget about any other organs, they are in rear, liver takes alcohol attack head on, that's the only organ which regenerates like hair or nail, toxifying.

Drinking occasionally on social events is okay, but drinking alone is toxic, physically, socially, and psychologically.

Majority of the drunkards/alcoholics, literate or illiterate knows it's affects, but still continue. There is no irony or addiction, only choice.

Even at this moment drink a some whiskey to fall asleep more easily. Is not in excess I do not think it can hurt you.

Using alcohol to aid your sleep is not a good practice. In the long term, it will do a lot of harm for you, even if you are only consuming 30 ml or 40 ml of alcohol ever day. Researchers have found out that alcohol does not improve sleep quality. However, it allows you to fall asleep quicker and sleep more deeply for a while. But in long term, it can lead to impaired sleep homeostasis and finally in insomnia.

Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?
I prefer to drink, but in moderate doses and only with a good company. The main thing is to learn to control yourself and monitor your drinking abilities

Drinking can be good when socializing because it brings people closer. It also relieves stress after a long hour of work. However, there's no good health benefit that you can get from drinking. It will ruin your liver and it can even damage your brain.

In moderation is OK but if you get addicted it can have a bad affect on your life and that of those around you. Have seen this close hand.

Just be sensible and never drink and drive!

People die from too much alcohol consumption whether it's short term by accident or long term by getting sick. People know this yet they seem to have a hard time avoiding too much alcohol.

they say drinking can make you forget about all your problems but i'm not agree with with.

I have tried alcohol and I would say that you are wrong. Alcohol at least gives you a temporary respite from all your daily troubles. You can sleep in peace for a few hours and forget about everything. But the effect is only temporary. And the problems still remain, as rather than resolving them, you were only trying to run away from them or ignore them.

The thing about drinking alchohol is that if you drank the right amount it is alright. However, if you drink too much then it is considered bad, especially for the liver. So, we need to limit it as well.

If you're doing physical work then alcohol might not affect you in moderation.
However if you're studying or doing any king of thinking or mental work I wouldn't recommend drinking.
It is proven by scientific studies it affects your studying abilities,so stay away from it.

Nice information, I did not know about that.  But it seems obvious only this is the time I realized about it.  Plus, everything not just alcohol should be taken into moderation.  Sometimes criminalities and troubled happrn when people put alcohol in their heads not in their stomach.

Unlike others I wouldn't say alcohol is good even in moderation. From my personal experience I can tell you how alcohol affected my health.
During high school,I drank with my friends every weekend, and kept pretty much good grades, saw no bad effect on myself.
However, when I enrolled in college, that's where the problems started.
I had concentration issues and I couldn't figure out where was that coming from, since I'd never had this kind of problems.
Just when I stopped drinking by accident,it wasn't any kind of my decision, simply because I had no time for, because I was studying for exams,
I realized I started feeling much better day by day.
Initially I didn't associate it with drinking, but I started realizing that fact.Fast forward, and 1 year later I fell better then ever, and my brain is working like never before.
And if I drink just one beer,it already feel dull and unable to concentrate,so I don't recommend alcohol even in small quantities.

In addition to the well known health problems, it can also cause skin problems. So if you aren’t worried about your liver or weight, think about the quality of your skin!

There are debates going on there that everything is good in moderate doses. I don't see how toxic poison can be good) Maybe for some it is the case. I tried that but found out that not drinking at all is better for me. Haven't been drinking for a year and a half I feel myself a lot better. My mind is always crystal clear and I don't have that irritating hangover the next day. But, of course, everyone should try and see what suits them better. Anyway, nothing serious would happen if you drink a few times a year

As with everything else in life, all is OK in moderation

So if i am not wrong you trying to tell that its not a big deal to drink in this modern culture.... But dont you feel that drinking causes a lot of problems...
Drinking to much alcohol can couse damage relations to your family and friends don't use alcohol to escape your problem.it will destroy your body and your social relations around you.saw drink moderately.

many effects are caused alcoholic beverages, Consuming alcohol in large quantities in addition to intoxicating can also disrupt the brain's nervous system and cause damage slowly. Even if drunk with a very large amount and exceeds body capacity, can lead to overdose and death.
