Brain damage. Binge drinking can cause blackouts, memory loss and anxiety. Long-term drinking can result in permanent brain damage, serious mental health problems and alcohol dependence or alcoholism. ... Alcohol can damage parts of the brain, affecting behaviour and the ability to learn and remember.

Rubbish. At least 30% of the world population consume alcohol on a regular basis. If what you had posted was true, then the world would have been filled with brain-dead zombies.
How many of those 30% drink alcohol without measure? After all, not everyone drinks alcohol to such an extent that they become zombies. You should always remember that even the medicine in large amounts becomes toxic.

Without a measure drinks a maximum of 5% of the population of the entire planet who do not see the meaning of life and destroy themselves constantly with alcohol to such an extent that they can not do anything.

Alcohol addicts comprise less than 1% of the total population, even in countries like Ukraine and Russia where the prevalence is the highest. And the majority of these people are well past their prime, mostly in their 50s or 60s.

The world is already full of zombies with alcoholic or narcotic intoxication. In this state, they sometimes really live on the dead, they do not understand what they are doing and can not think.

May be rubbish but do have a look at this too: A person has alcohol poisoning if they have consumed a toxic amount of alcohol, usually over a short period. Their blood alcohol level is so high it is considered toxic (poisonous). The patient can become extremely confused, unresponsive, disoriented, have shallow breathing, and can even pass out or go into a coma.

Yes, there you have it, be careful folks!

Alcohol causes the body to become addictive, but this does not mean that it does not harm even if you are feeling well. Global destruction of the body can occur in a few years.

Alcohol addiction is rare for normal people. But if you have some medical condition, or under great mental pressure or stress, then the chances are greater. Treatment is available, but it is often expensive and time-taking. Also, in developed nations most of the de-addiciton centers are run by churches and religious institutions.

In my youth I often drank alcohol in large quantities and the next day felt bad. Now I've learned to limit myself and not feel any discomfort. When people talk about the dangers of alcohol this applies only to those who drink a lot and from whom it becomes a habit.

Yes, alcohol becomes harmful only when it is bad after it. A small dose of alcohol on the contrary raises the mood and can be curative.
It's too much alcohol that's going to make it look bad and probably not the best thing you could do when you are just meeting up with strangers but some people would love that. It is known if you always drink then you will get somehow immune to it because your body is getting used to it, then it's good if you love to drink, but I would just stay away.

LOL I don't think I actually get the global destruction of the body you're talking about there dude but yeah I agree. Most of the time, we will feel the effects of over consumption when we get older. The body and your organs may be able to handle excessive alcohol when you're young but as with anything else, it will take a toll when we get older. So better take care of your body and while you're young and avoid becoming alcoholic

The impact of drinking alcohol first is that drinking too much alcohol is not good to our health..the worst of drinking alcohol is when you cant control on drinking there is tendency that drives you to do something not good to you or even other people like the case in our neighbors, they drink alcohol because there is a party and after that somebody killed.

Still unknown is worse for the body 150 grams of spirits or 1 liter of beer. I know how to control themselves and never suffer consequences from drinking alcohol. Everything is good in moderation.

The alcohol content in beer is quite low, it is around 4% to 5%. So 1 liter of beer contains a maximum of 50 ml ethyl alcohol. On the other hand, 150 grams of vodka contains around 65 ml of pure alcohol. And also, the later is more potent because it is more concentrated.

Like many have already said, it's okay in moderation. It's not a necessity for our health, that's for sure, but it doesn't do long term damage to our body if taken in moderation.

I drink on rare occasions, but I tend to drink heavy when I do, only because I can handle it quite nicely. I am however taking a break this time because I'm sick of losing or damaging my stuff when I get drunk, because it's often in large groups of people, and me being the entertainer, I tend to get carried away with dancing, running around and stuff.

For now, I'm grabbing my coffee mug. Cheers!

Everyone is talking about the excessive use of alcohol, but who makes you get drunk to such a state to turn off the brain. If you consume before eating 50-100 grams of whiskey then this is no harm. Only liquefies the blood and accelerates metabolism.

Nothing good comes from it. A lot of bastard kids (yes sorry for the explicit phrase) are projected in a bathroom of a night club where 2 persons get drunk to the point they don't know anything except having sex. After nine month the bastard child without a father is born. This should be enough to stay away from the alcohol. Another bad effect is it kills brain and heart cells, enough to scare you to death if you care about your life.
