So....
This is a ridiculous statement. Researchers have not yet been able to prove the link between alcohol and cancer beyond doubt. Also, you should remember that ethanol is not a carcinogen. Only when it metabolizes to acetaldehyde, the risk of cancer arises.
There are many people who abuse alcohol, but throughout life they do not have cancer. The research is not entirely accurate, many factors affect the occurrence of cancer.
I am not a big fan of alcoholic drinks. In my family itself, we have lost multiple individuals to alcohol-related illnesses such as liver cirrhosis. But posting wrong information about alcohol is something which I can't support.
I'm sorry for your lost. I don't have a family member who died due to alcohol related illnesses. But still I have stopped drinking alcohol for more than a year now. I totally quit because I don't like the effect anymore. And because my doctor had advised me for the reason that it cause some reaction on my stomach. I just drink like 1 or 2 bottles of beer if their is some celebration like birthday. I just drink just to socialized but I limit to 2 bottles only.
