social media is the simple way for investors and bounty hunters to get some informations and updates about the project. but i think it will be better if we don't always rely on social media only. it will be easy to contact with one of the team member from the project. they usually hold an AMA section if you have a question about the project. also we should always check the project announcement post in this forum too. they usually post an update there.

Yeah those mistakes are also create a negative impact to the project but the investors and bounty hunters need to always or stay active in social media channels specially in telegram because most of the announcement is in the pinned message or it will see in the announcement channel of the project by that we will see the latest updates.
The OP was right, regarding that problems always recur to hunters and investors, if it happens to hunters it can be understood if they find out too late because many projects they'd promote, I am a hunter and the above thing often happens to me sometimes. Either team members have no knowledge or they want to scam people by creating new rules after a long time inactive. EZ Exchange has looked promising to me since I completed this campaign. But recently they revealed the KYC process. But during bounty KYC it wasn't mandatory. The interesting part is pin post, they didn't make this information announcement on telegram.
But when you are participating mainly in Twitter campaigns, you can get into the situation that you are promoting 10 and more campaigns a month. So, after some time it is pretty hard to manage them all. They should at least email you with this information. 
That's true I have the same issue before of keeping up because the bounty you worked with are mounting and but the payment takes time to arrive, you might even forget some of them especially the old ones in the past I am a member of over 30 telegram channels for bounty and airdrops that I cannot keep up anymore, it's time-consuming following.
