LOL.. I will not compare Rashid Khan with Tushar Deshpande. Rashid is known as a bowler who is quite miserly during the middle overs. Deshpande on the other hand has a reputation of leaking runs (although he compensates that by taking crucial wickets). Spinners were disproportionately impacted in this seasons IPL, probably due to smaller boundaries. Among the top-10 bowlers, this season we have 5 pacers and 5 spinners, which is roughly similar to the proportion we had in 2022. But the economy rates are awful. 8.23 for Rashid, 8.11 for Piyush and so on.

Even bowlers like Rashid Khan (well known for his economy rate) was conceding 14-15 runs per over at times. It still surprises me that Chennai Super Kings with hardly any T20 specialists managed to defeat a well balanced team such as the Gujarat Titans. They had hardly any regular Indian players (apart from Ravindra Jadeja), and were up against a team that comprised of Indian national team payers such as Shubman Gill, Mohammad Shami as well as overseas stars such as Rashid Khan. So Channai Super King won final and become a team with five time IPL champion. before this they won 20121,2018,2011,2010. Dhoni will be very happy for this performance. Dhoni will retire from cricket as a champion. we cannot forgot this legend in cricket history and will remember forever. Dhoni is my best player and i support Chennai because of him.

Gujarat overall performance was too good and they deserve to be champion this year but they failed to restrict experience kings which cost Gujarat to loss final. CSK openers good start was key runs and after that middle batsmen scores 175 on the board. This 2023 was a good one and lot of interesting match we seen.

In the final match tomorrow, the first innings was completed very well and Gujarat Titans batted brilliantly and set a target of 215 runs at the end of 20 overs. But before the start of the second innings, rain started again and a target of 171 runs was given in 15 overs in a special DLS system. Agreed, till the last ball the match will be fun and alive. Even after the 5^th ball six Gujarat Titans were confident as the first four balls of the final over was really good from Mohit Sharma. Even the last ball is a tricky one, maybe if the last ball were faced by some other player it might've not reached the boundary. Gujarat Titans were really awesome from the start to the end of the season with perfect consistency and an unlucky day with the rain. If not this could've been a tough match for CSK to win.
